Rene LaVice's remixes are so shitty. B-tier producer. Ugh.

Jed wrote: James Jupiter wrote: It's funny how the official website's own EP description gets the release date wrong: - Quote: Taking the counter comment to the album’s title track ‘The Day is My Enemy’, The Prodigy are pleased to offer details of a forthcoming EP entitled ‘The Night is My Friend’ – due for release on July 17th.
The EP includes album tracks ‘Get Your Fight On’ and ‘Rhythm Bomb’, two fresh remixes and the previously un-released, fan favourite ‘AWOL’.
‘AWOL’ has been a track the band have played live since 2012 but as the album writing and recording process developed the band decided to hold AWOL back . Now, after reworking it into a new unheard version they feel it’s time to make it available on record…….. and limited cassette! Quote: CD/Cassette
Release Date: 31/07/2015
12 Inch
Release Date: 04/09/2015 17th was the original release date. It got moved to 31st recently. Thats why the band were saying "early july" because at that time it was. The vinyl is September because vinyl pressing plants have a really long turnaround time. There is a massive queue because there arent enough plants! I think someone said it best in a previous post, that many things can happen at a label to affect release dates and sometimes we are at the mercy of external forces! You wont be disappointed though guys! jed There was a really great article in regards to the strain on printing vinyl. Limited resources, materials, plants, and experts left in the vinyl industry. And sadly major labels are trying to push out indie labels by hoarding and pushing themselves ahead of the line. Meanwhile it was the indie labels that kept vinyl alive and going this whole time. A label like Warp Records forced an artist like Aphex Twin to have to wait 6 months to release after he delivered his album.

Was hoping for something else but its a re eq so wasn't going to stray much from the album version

No, I wouldn't say so, having seen them live recently it didn't sound like the re eq version
