Prodigy are those who will remain in history, all the others are just bands tryin' to follow them (automation). Prodigy "write", others "follow the automation line", just like in a sequencer track. I think that is the meaning of Omen.

yeh normally I don't read anything into the lyrics. Not about to think there is a whole "physcology" behind any lyrics in any of their tunes. But that line was bothering me and now that I think of it in that light, I feel like I understand it more.
haha. Especially if some NON-FAN's I know ask me what the words are, etc..

But that's just because the other version is a radio rip, after a few more listens I think I still like the radio 1 rip version better. It's hard to call though with it being inferior quality. This "live" version is also a Radio 1 rip. And it also says that the quality is 64K. I don't know how come it sounds better. I like both versions but at the moment I like Zane version a little more. For the same reasons people already said. I think Zane version is going to be on the single because that is the version we hear in the video. In the post with the duration of the album tracks, for Omen it says "3:36". The version I posted is 3:35. I added 1 second of silence at the end but I shortened the music itself because Sara starts talking before the track ends. So maybe this is the album version.
Yeah you're right. I'm certain that Zane version will be on the single, Sara version will be on the album. Shame though because I would rather Zane version on album, but what can ya do?...

Haha, I dunno, I still don't read much into the lyrics. Prodigy aren't known for their deep meanings and social analyses. I think it's just meant to fit the tune.
I mean, I don't think there's anyone out there who can come up with a logical explanation of the lyrics to Breathe.

for me, they're the best band ever.
BUT I think it's hypocrite for the band to have such meanings in their lyrics.
At least... that's what you guys think what the line means.

Liam said it. it's only about a duel
but it's not inspired by what happened in real life, like Firestarter or Serial Thrilla are (they're about Keef's personality)

Everytime I listen to it (nonstop! ) I don't wanna fucking hear 'You just start an... Otter nation, NOW!', but I do! I can't listen to this tune without imagining otters sitting in line staring straight at me with a otter village in a blurry background. Thank you very fucking much.
