Yeah. 'Oh Liam, I forgot to record from the mixer. We'll have to release the dvd without sound, but we can dub some studio tracks over the images.

+1

Sounds like they scrapped it to me... which is terribly annoying. Either that or Liam cracked the shits and just wanted to keep the live experience live-only, he's pretty passionate about that apparently so we might not see this dvd.

..As a live band you gotta release a live dvd at some point, like it or not. It's just that some people will never be able to see them live, some people want to watch whenever they want and some people will judge a band on that performance. To me, if a live dvd takes a long time to be released, they're making a fucking awesome work of it. If Liam doesn't like the idea of releasing a live dvd, it will only be released when he's sure it's epic. Same thing with the Their Law Singles; Prodigy wasn't keen on releasing it, but in the end they liked the package, and were quite proud of it.

Liam also disliked internet, he hated the fact that people released live bootlegs, but these days he looks at these things differently. It might take a while, but once he's convinced having a live dvd is kind of a landmark for a live band, he'll make a lot of fans happy motherfuckers.

I really hope this is still going ahead, but from Liam's blogs I get the impression his head is now in new album mindset and this was just an idea which for whatever reason wasn't to be. The fact there's talk of a new album is brilliant, don't get me wrong, I'm just worried this will be a long lost relic, maybe to re-surface in 5-10 years?...

from a commercial point of view it must be timed like:6-9 months before the next album to create a buil-up for the next release

Maybe they wanna have it ready for Milton Keynes 2011. Would be awesome if Prodge's event was annually.

Why not?

I mean, the boys are getting old ya know. Would be awesome if they took the reins on putting on their own annual festival even if they didn't play at it. I wouldn't mind see the boys' selection of artists they think can rock a crowd.

I have to agree with some of the comments here. Dont want to start moaning again or sth like that, but i simply cant accept many things and beiing in a forum like this, I think I have the right to share my view. Its really unacceptable to conitnue 20 years bullsh*tting. Its not good for Liam, for his image at all to continue with all these comments.

I cant acept that 3-4 months be4 we were told a big news is comming very soon. maybe very soon means for the band sth like 6-7 months, but they are not taliking to themselfs, but to us. And for us, the normal people, very soon is 1-2-3 weeks!

I cant accept that the fact, that they are" finally going to the studio" more than 6-7 months. The first time Liam mentioned tht was in the middle of August if Im not wrong. 5 months after that he said, we wont play in USA in march, we want finally to go to the studio. How can I translate that for me? He has still not went to the studio, what he said 6 months be4?

I dont want albums every year or so, but 2 years after your last album, 2 years after playing the same setlist everywere in the world, you can simply play or release sth new. It can be just a free download on the web page, it can be just a fill in the live gigs, but simply sth new. We must see that they are developing as a band. And thats exactly after theyve mentioned many times, they wont do the same mistake and will realese their next album much faster.

I cant accept that more than 2 years they are playing the same setlist. When they started their IMD tour they were playing only 3-4 songs from the new album???!! 2 years after that they are still playing the same songs +-1-2. I cant accpet that theyve made 10-15 gigs in germany in the last 2 years, in some of the cities like Berlin and Munich x2 with the same setlist. Ok in the first year youre promoting your new stuff, but why the hell 1 year after that, when you play in a city, where you have already been some months before, you do the same setlist.

Liam hates internet blah blah blah. Unfortunately its 2011 and Internet is part of our life. If you want to be succesful on the music stage, you have to keep twetting, blogging, vlogging etc. Once a week, once per 2 weeks. There were 2-3 months without a single blog from the band recently. Thats not acceptable. Come on, guys, its 2011!

I love the band, and to love sth doesnt meen to accept everything they do. The biggest problem is that we know them good, and we are not expecting eonders. They can make us so happy with so little steps, but they dont do that. And believe me, they dont give a sh*t for anyone of us. All theyre doing is because theyre supposed to do it. All these blogs etc.

I feel your frustration man but I know Liam has been in the studio quite a lot recently, he is also writing tracks on the road.

I try to limit the amount of gigs I attend these days because of the same tracks being flogged to death.

But the WDF DVD news is a total piss-take.
