come on man! whether you like it or not, is not as crap as Pendulum! They might be the worst electronic band ever (and I include Scooter in that comparison). IMD destroys Pendulum.

you know what?

at first, i thought the new tune was ok. it took me by surprise. but i listened to it after work again and it's a pretty good tune.

it's honestly the intro track

i think everyone's freaking out for nothing...

this is the opening track to the album, Liam made, as he says inspired by the new rave scene going on. and the track kinda blends the Justice's, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Hadouken's (hell, even has a member from DIOY,Y? with him) into a monster called "Invaders Must Die." the idea of the title alone is to say The Prodigy are here to destroy, you're here because of us, and now we're back. I don't look at it as a single. It's a perfect opening track for what's to come. I think the album is gonna be a banger. This is Liam saying, "Oh, you like that shit, well I can do it better." This is to get all the nu-ravers to notice and go "oh word, The Prodigy destroys these wannabe mofos."

What i wanna hear is track 2, i think this is where it goes to what The Prodigy is all about. This is where they flip the scene shit on it's head. I mean you guys did hear "World's On Fire" and "Warrior's Dance." were they bad? those songs pound, so what are you all worried about.

I'm looking at this as a whole album and this represents just the beginning track. i feel it sets you up for what's gonna hit. It's a safe song to put out there and get people's attention.

It would be nice for the single right before the album release, maybe not even this track. Maybe they got two videos, didn't somewhere it said they filmed multiple. This is the tease and then right before the new album hits, bring the bomb.

i love the track even though i hear strong pendulum influence , and for some reason i cant really sense liams presence behind this , but then again Mr. H comes with something new every time , either way its a great track thats my 2 cents

It's a pretty song, far from epic in my book, but it's very pretty as in beautiful sounds, fun old school style I like, I wont play this in my car stereo but it will be on my mp3 player for those moments of fun-relaxation
The instrument quality is awesome, the melody is very good.

Thanks to mighty poo/agent orange whatever your nickname is now for sharing and telling me there was a new single :P

As I mentioned earlier it does sound like an album intro rather than a stand alone track and for this reason I don't think this should be the single unless it's changed up quite a bit. It actually sounds better to me when played not so loud. I'll stick it on me phone anyway. :)

It's that cheesy Swire-synth. It ruins the track. If you'd just add in Rob Swire singing off key then you'd never know it wasn't a Pendulum tune. If they took out that synth it would be ok, but it totally loses the Prodigy's balls with that cheesy shit in it. And the "we are the Prodigy" sample is really cheese too. Since when do Prodigy need to announce who they are during their songs?

Again, compared to WOF and WD it's such garbage. Those tunes set the bar very high, and this doesn't come close to meeting those expectations.

This sounds like a Digitalism song. Its not bad, but there's too much electro influence in this.

I give it a 6.5/10.

Warriors Dance and World on Fire are freakin ace though.

and what you were waiting for ?
death metal influence?

After listening to it several times, i've gotta say it's just an OK track.

I really want to say that i love it but i just find that main synth annoying and i don't really like the beats that much. And it isn't really the fact that this sounds a lot like Pendulum, it's the fact that I don't really like that sound (however i did in the Hold Your Colour days).

I can kind of understand if this is a message from the band saying that all invaders of their music must die but It still doesn't change it that much for me.

However, like i said before, I can imagine this could be big live. Just get a live drummer and a different synthesizer for it and the track could be sublime.

Nobody on here needed time to digest Worlds on Fire or Warriors Dance, they were the perfect blend of old skool rave with the new rock-style Prodigy. This tune is just not very good. It's not that it's horrible, but we're talking THE PRODIGY here. Making a track that would be good for *another* band is not good enough for them. It sounds like total Pendu-rock, whether you like it or not, there's no denying that.

+1
Track number 2 (OMEN) is going to be the prodigy doing what they do. Dark menacing attack. "Invaders must die" is too 'happy' to be a serious prodigy track. As this song has a reprise later, it won't surprise me at all if it's the record's main track.

well its a change from ure first warning shit.

sorry about my dissapearance last night, my whole power cut out after about 4 listens to invaders.

listened to it again a good few times, i donno how the hell you could compare this to pendulum, this is such a tune, if your more into prodigy's hardcore evil shit then u aint gonna like it.

i'll say this much once again the prodigy have provided us with something we just couldn't have thought up in our own minds before hearing, thats why i love prodigy so much, theres just so many surprises,

its so new sounding if i'll be honest, its like new type of guitar play but still the old synth styling, the main lead does remind me of some beat em up arcade game from the early 90's but the guitars sound 2008 style it is fucking brilliant !!
