on a side note, who thinks they need 2 change their image? lol thats kool, your opinion just means less to me now
fair enuf mate, cant say im too bothered like.
anyway, everyone is entitled to their opinions, i just like to voice mine in a more explained way than most, and i aint holdin back no more, just coz i think liam might be readin so i wanna come across as cool and shit. fuck that, if i think a choons shit im gunna let him and everyone else know. fair enuf it wont make a difference but i aint voiceing my opinion for that to happen, im just not gunna say i like a choon just coz its prodge.
i was listening to razor 2day and i love that track, it sounds more old skool prodge and not like its just come straight outta reason etc...

I really like that tune - Liam ! Great work !!!
Can´t wait for Smokin´ Aces Soundtrack CD ! I need that holy piece of music in my hands !
BTW - it´s the original Pukklepop ´05 version as it was mentioned before and not a special reduced version for the movie. The only thing, that changed and sounds a little bit empty is the intro-bassline. But you can get the original back easily with music software
The mentioned gaps in the beats I can explain, too. There´s no Pepper added in that tune, so you missed some hi-hats, etc.
I like the instrumental version, but I hope for a non instrumental as b-side track. Or A Capella !
9/10 Points [the non-instrumental will get 10 Points]
BIG RESPECT !!!

Sure, it lacks the all-so-essential lyrics, but look at it this way:
Now we can have a karaoke contest!!!

tomlad wrote: mate, the difference between me and probably all the fans on here etc... is the fact that i dont suck liams ass just coz hes released a track or whatever. i couldnt give a shit whether or not this was released, so no i shouldnt be grateful because did i ever ask for it? no. fair enuf, if someone was beggin for it, then slated it, you could say that, but not to someone whos not actually expressed any real interest in liams new material other than my opinions on the simple lack of prodigy esq sounds and shit. to be honest mate, my belief in liam went out the window when i got to about track 8 on AONO. hes spent too much time away from the buisness and not kept his ear to the ground. liam needs to get off what hes on and sort it out. u dont loose the talent like hes got overnight, actually, u never loose it, its always going to be there, but hes spending too much time in other places doin other shit, rather that listenin 2 whats goin on music wise these days. to me this doesent sound a whole lot different to what i heard on back to mine. he doesent seem to have any direction or anything.
when i heard girls for the first time i realised he still had it, unfortunatley i think thats the last time ive thought that ever since. prodigy fans dont like the way i express my opinions coz i dont hold back on what i feel, i remember when that ping pong bitches track surfaced a few week ago, everyone was goin nuts coz they thought it was liam, how strange was it that once it was revealed liam had nothing to do with it, loads of people on here and other places dropped it like a hot brick. people just think "fuckin amazing choon, best thing ive ever heard! " etc.... just coz liams produced it. bollocks to that, if it sounds shit it sounds shit, no matter who fuckin produced it. and at the end of the day. this choon sounds shit, its an improvement over wake the fuck up, but bloody hell. that isnt saying a whole lot now is it.
liam COULD still make the choons, but at the moment, he really really isnt going full throttle and it sounds like (as someone has pointed out in another post) that hes become lazy and perfectionist liam went out the window the day he started wearin makeup. lol
Right on!! I'm feeling the exact same way!
But "First Warning" is a okay track, didn't get the chills like I did in the old days, but I'm glad it's instrumental, think it got the dumbest lyrics live.. But off course, they could have changed them.

I'll wait for Second Warning, this version seems completly polished for a cult movie like Smokin Aces. To be honest I don't know why clint mansell can think he should polish anything by the prodge, especially if he wants to use it for some characters called the tremor brothers. let the people in thearters feel this song kick
tomlads never been to a prodigy concert his opinion means shit

@prodigalOne: I don't think that you should dismiss someone’s opinion on a track whether or not they have seen the prodigy live. tomlad has listened to the live versions as said in a previous post. That’s a bit rude.
Me, I have seen and heard the prodigy play three different versions of warning, and with or without vocals, this ‘first’ version is still as shithot as the actual first real live version of warning. The beats are spot on and the ‘hey’ vocal sample is all it needs. As of yet.
Let’s wait for the new album, eh?! Roll on 2007.

meh.. liam made this track for a movie, its a good track, not much better than i say.. wake the fuck from his gay album, but still cool enough to listen to especially the last part with melody. this is the last aono era track so chill out ppl. on the new album i think there wont be dead ken beats cause its aono rubbish. or maybe it will but heavily remixed.

Hey I like this track! Is it their best work? Hell no, of course not. But its still cool, and I'll be picking up that soundtrack just for this.
I won't go into a long rant about how it could be better/worse but will say a few things.....
I think this track is good for what it is, and even though I have an imaginary Keith singing the words in my head I still think it was good enough to put on a soundtrack. Maybe its not good enough for a single (A side) or to be an album track. But for a soundtrack for a movie? Hell yeah! its Probably better than most the other songs on that cd if not all!
I will say even though I don't always agree with what is said here by people that I do respect people's opinions, and won't shoot shit at anyone in particular. Usually thats a good way to stay out of SHIT.
So am I a bit biased? yep! do I love all tracks by the Prodigy? No. Do I call any of them "crap" or "shit"? No I don't.
Maybe the day I can start making better tunes than the "worst" of Prodigy that I can start going around saying how crap things are. But I don't think so.
Maybe some of you think you can do better?
Go ahead....
