The band don't say "We are the Prodigy" but the Invaders say Think about it !

Not as good as I was expecting.
Not sure about the Pendulum synth ...
7/10 as still an amazing well produced track with awesome beats and samples.

had to listen to it on radio with shitty flat sounding earphones, so I couldn't quite appreciate it properly last night.
At first I felt a little dissapointed but I thought it would grow on me and sound better with bass and a LOUDA system. Pendulum did spring to mind straight away. And the melody was enphasised even more with my flat sound.
Now today I've played it and cranked it up, it's definately different.
I like it. Not sure as an opening track but its very good. Maybe the album version will kick it even more.

Just reading the album press release again and noticed IMD is the only track that doesn't get it's own description making me believe even more that this tune is tagged onto the album just as an intro. I have the faith. March on.

you know what the problem is?
we had wof, warrior, mescaline and run, wich really are some wicked fresh dirty bombs
listening them on shitty live recordings they sounded great and sounded "loud"
people were expecting a studio track at the same level. but they got memphis bells 2008
they said this album is liam max and flinty
and what the people got to download? an instrumental one
this is not about to diss or piss on the band. is about fan expectations.
fans were too hyped after the live tracks, with max and flint over them
some are angry about it, that's why they keep moaning
if you take a kid and show him ps2 wii and xbox at the toy store, and for xmas you give him
a tetris, boy he will be mad. he'll never say he hates games, he'll only say he doesn't like THAT game

I expected this to be a sample-based track, not a vocal one. After reading that the band will make only a cameo in the video, I was sure about it.
After listening to most of Pendulum's singles, I really don't see the resemblance. In fact, now I appreciate IMD even more

overall, for me it's good track and i think it can make people move!
this sound nothing like pendulum and i think it is not even similar to it, an JUstice(as i heard them it sounds like disco house rock) and i can't find similarities with them either.
Respect to all Prodigy Fans!

Yo Liam!
You got your MOJO back!
Invaders Must Die is what Mega Man 2 would sound like if Liam were the composer. LIAAAAAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAAAAAAA BOOOOOOOYEEEE!
This is what i expect from Prodigy, tongue in cheek, not repetitive like AONO but unpredictable, unadulterated sonic assault.
I mean it ain't firestarter or an instant classic, but this is the right road...it makes everything sound like crap. You made Timbaland look like a fool.
I kinda wish I had a bit more money to order the 6-record boxset. Oh well but the 2 disc is what i pre-ordered on the day it was announced.

i dont understand what liam was trying to do here, it indeed is based on annoying pendulum shit. it tries to be pendulum but sounds even flatter and not catchy at all..
i know im moaning here but this shit sounds like it actually came out of a gameboy
