The Big Gundown - fucking amazing, but I was expecting that so no surprise here ; lacks vocals though, Maxim shouting comanche!! really helped in this one, making it more insane
Wild West - like it a lot too, weird that they renamed it, Disko Punks fits to this, anyway really neat track

wish i could hear the extra 2 tracks since i'm probably gonna be waiting for 2 weeks to get the damn boxset. wrote a complaint to their shop on the amount they charge for fast shipping and how long it takes to get here. took 2 days to come from Japan.

LOL i never said that, weirdo did it in my name
but if you ask me i really do think so, however the most stupid thing is to compare and rank different artists. they are just different.

Just heard The Big Gun Down and Wild West
Infinitely much better than Black Smoke and Fighter Beat.
Wild West is something i never thought i'd hear Howlett make, its dirty, 4 to the floor and sounds like something if LH, Justice and Franz Ferdinand would write if locked in a studio for one day.
The Big Gun Down is just a party tune, made to bob the head and do the Indian rain dance lol!
I've a feeling that all these tracks on the Lost Beats were made for shits and giggles. Howlett knew these possibly couldn't make a b-side and sensibly left these off for remixes and possible b-sides such as Mescaline or some of the other vocal collabs he's done in future releases.

I love the groovy bassline in Wild West and Big Gundown is also awesome!
Lookin forward to hearing the single B-sides even more now!

hmmm so strange
For some reason I don't like Wild West. it sounds generic
but the rest is very nice for beats
So it goes like this:
1. Black Smoke
2. The Gundown
3. Fighter Beat
4. Wild West

Big gundown is definetly a letdown for me. Having heard the original theme by the maestro (Ennio) it seems like it's lacking the energy. The original theme packs 10times more energy and feeling. Guess it's really hard to top the maestro. Well solid effort nevertheless. Looking forward to get my hands on the goodies of the boxset

it's a bit of a letdown for me with THE BIG GUNDOWN not beacause of the general track but because of the production, mixing or whatever.those samples could have been made to sound more intense

disko punx = i love the way how mr liam howlett fucked up this tune
i was thinking a lot about it and i found my interpretation of lost bits
lost bits = just outlines of his planes for post-Fat tunes: i mean ideas from 99-2001 but re processed now in his mind from the begginning
this ep smells very 90'ty around year two thousand for me
actuall lost beats is easier to assililate by me than regular album

yeah they are just ideas probably.bits and pieces who could have been used in proper tracks.i hope they won't turn out as b-sides on the singles.
