Elsewhere wrote: About the cover. If this is what documentary made in 2011, about band's possible ideology, subliminal communication and media strategies is correct, then this cover maybe makes some sense. The documentary in youtube suggests that this crab symbolised the brake into US market after success of Firestarter single, crab arriving to it's shore. If try and draw any connections between docs idea and cover of re-release, then it may suggest that by now, 2012, Prodigy is kinda arrived even more this time. Basicly most of the remixes are by US producers, they wanting to remix prodigy etc.. it may be little off, but i find this idea very interesting. all things in this documentary is quite bashing, some things i haven't thought about really. anti us war propaganda in Girls video and so on. There was thread in here somewhere about this documentary also, but haven't watched it til now. if someones interested : Code: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBGPDHTzu08&feature=plcp
apart all symbolics... well all my life I actually thought that the prodigy are ... into war. or maybe not against war like they are like 'war is a part of life' thing... they actually communicate many things in quite aggresive style: "we gonna drop bomb tonight"; names: "always outnumbered never outgunned", hedonistic approach: "i dont give a shit about the forest if i can arrive to London faster" (LH, around 1995).... so for me they are quite agrresive, not offensive but no sign of good behaviour lessons in their art

Just browsed through some old Neko interviews and found one answer from Liam relevant to this thread. I don't know if theres ever answer good enough for some people, but here it is.
Q : And any kind of unreleased tracks that you’ve got from when you were signed to XL (Recordings) do XL have the rights to those or are you going to be able to release those?
A :
Quote: There’s not many left to be honest there’s only ‘No Souvenirs’. Yeah I’m trying to think if there’s anything else. ‘We Eat Rhythm’ I suppose is still knocking around. I mean if I actually went through all the stuff in the studios there’s probably loads and loads of stuff but, nothing worth, nothing that I think worth, you know?
There’s a lot more material around now writing this record than there was before. Yeah, for sure. I’m still finding tracks that are sort of half done that I’m finding now that I think are still really good you know? It’s weird. They’re just missing one element or something do you know what I mean?
I think If Liam wasn't so busy making New Album happening, maybe he would be bothered enough to put some effort into FOTL era stuff.

Breathe (The Glitch Mob Remix) ....
I am surprised. ACE! I wan't to hear full version!
Bauuer and Major laser remixes are listenable, but nothing special.
Alvin risk is like parody in some elements.

Zeds dead remix is unlistenable, in my opinion... Noisia remix is okay for the most

I quite like The Glitch Mob remake
Noisia one is good
Alvin Risk is fucking awful, Zed's Dead is much better than that one
Baauer one is pretty cool
Major Lazer one is ehhh
So Glitch Mob is battling Noisia as my fave so far on this one

Kudos to Noisia and Glitch Mob.
Very cool remixes of classic tunes.
Baauer remix is pretty interesting as well.
Alvin Risk seems like he just took an unpublished tune and dropped firestarter samples on top. Lazy as fuck.

lol at the start of that Major Lazer's SMBU remix.
Looks like Diplo tried to recreate the beats and all from the original samples. Probably watched Jim Pavloff's SMBU tutorial video haha.
Noisia managed to merge a sort of recreation and remix. Doesn't sound so bad when you know they dedicated a lot of time and thought for it. It's one of the best of these new remixes. The level of them is pretty low though...
But yea, that Major Lazer remix sounds ok after the horrifying "recreation" bit. Tells something about Liam's production skills, because this one comes nowhere near.
Btw, thanks Elsewhere for that Prodigy documentary about their media tactics and subliminals. Was very interesting!

I doubt any of these artists got the stems to remix these tracks. They had to sample the originals. I think better remixes might have surfaced if Liam gave them the stems!
