Naa they're not stupid mate. I can't see this albumn sounding out-dated. It's the prodigy, they don't even fit into a genre of music. They just are...... There are millions of fans out there just waiting for this albumn to be released. Just look at the tours, they're doing 2 nights at wembley for fuck sake!
I see your point though mate. But in a sense how the fuck can you be fresh in this age of music? There's nothing new to create is there? All you can do is try and fuse some styles together to try and make something different you know? I'm hoping this album is going to be like a modern day MFTJG.

That'd be the bollocks.
But from what we've heard so far, I don't get (even Liams) comparison with Jilted cos there isn't anything similar. All tracks sound more FOTL-istic to me, and I like most of them. Punky / rocky shit. But not this coldhearted precise calcuclated evil spirit that was going on in the Jilted.
But yeah, who knows what awaits us, maybe all we've heard REALLY isn't gonna be on the record and we're all being led into a tricky expectations-trap. If they'd pull THAT I'd pull my hat, seriously.

all tracks sound so much better than aono period,it's true, they sound more fotl-era,but personally for me is million times better in this way.As i always said aono was nice, but nothing comparable to the first 3 legendary albums.Maybe Invaders Must Die won't be legendary too,but i think that this way is better and more original than the aono one, also because the spirit of the entire band will be in.

They'll never be able to repeat the success of TFOTL or make an album that will top MFJG

But that doesnt necessarily mean that IMD will be shit.

I think Liam was refering more in terms of "Speed" and "Ravey"-feel when comparing the tracks to Jilted... Worlds on Fire and Warriors Dance are 145 bpm much like some jilted tracks.

look, every band (or group) reach some kind of culmination/the top,and i think that Prodigy guyz had their own in mid 90's because they were young, rebellious, they had more creativity, they were 'kids' and whole rave era was in their way..it was their case .
now,i believe that new album will be fcking awesome, but that old energy is lost forever as like that rave era,too

hehe,i'll put it (fala:)
i know what you mean..i actually was @VIP InMusic, Dom sportova and sopron live shows and what can i say..that were blasting muttafcka rocking powerfull prodigy acts i really enjoyed, but i thought about sounds and samples..liam have been using more weird and different sounds before and now it's the same but with less of that 'sounds-samples' energy (ak me kužiš:)

i'm talking about sound of a new album and the new sound generally. i already know what they can or what they're able to. have you really experienced 'experience' and MFTJG?

the only reason why people think they are dated is mostly because of the setlist.basically their shows have that boob only because of their 90's tracks.the new ones don't quite make people jump as much as the old ones.that's why they keep playing them and probably they will forever play them.you could say it's their own fault.
and i don't think the sound of the album will be dated.we have to wait and see how the production style will be cause for them this is a signature on every album.

oh and one thing i don't like these days with music is that everyone is making music that sounds like their old albums,or back to the oldskool,or get inspiration from music in the 80's,or 70's or whatever.if the prodigy will have another album after this one i want it to be something fututristic cause untill now we had aono who was ment to be back to the roots and about the beats like mftjg, now he have imd who is suposed to be back to the roots again to mftjg.it's enough already making music inspired like the old one.it's time for something brand new
