Yo people ,XL Recordings are celebrating 15 years since the release of our Fat Of The Land album by re-releasing it and to make it special and give it weight we got behind it and got some killer new remixes done

"I don't want those remixes either," Howlett growls. "I wouldn't have put that out in the first place. It had nothing to do with me, and we didn't do any interviews or anything for it. I'm still friends with the people at XL Recordings, our old record label, but I didn't like it. Put out an album 'cos it was some 15 year anniversary or something? That's a record company statement, not the type of thing we do. I don't get too involved in reading forums - I used to read all the press about us years ago, but not anymore. I beg to differ. Not me.

The band have handpicked a group of artists to remix key tracks off the album with Noisia, Alvin Risk, Zeds Dead, Baauer, The Glitch Mob and Major Lazer all on remix duty.

MJ's mix is not as bad as I imagined, since it's by diplo. the beginning is awful and the whole track would've been much better with switch on it as well. just a cash in for diplo stating himself as major lazer

bauuer remix could've been much better, such poor use of samples

noisia remains the best one.... others not mentioned are pure crap. never heard a decent remix of breathe which is a shame, it's such a powerful track. but maybe that's the thing..
