Anyway, I dig the second version much more.
The synth-line is funky and vicious and it's also less static. Badass combo.


I still hate the vocal sample for 3 reasons.

1) I don't like it tonally.
It simply doesn't work for me.

2) I don't like the way it's "poured" into the mix.
If you're a Legend-Producer and you wanna bring a bit of 90's vibe into a mix, that's certainly not the way to do it.
That's not creative sampling/approach..that's cheap..that's the way David Guetta would do it.

3) I don't like it verbally.
wtf is "I need someone"?
"I need someone", "i miss my mom" ,"I pooped my pants"..
It sounds neady and silly.

It'll probably shorten the "lifetime" of the tune.

Really!? I though the 2nd mix sucks. The first was great, and look forward to hear the full mixes of Resonate & Boom Tap.

Boomtap is FUN, toung in the cheek, lively tune. i kinda like it!

everything doesn't have to be serious. for me it sounds better that some tunes on IMD and TDIME. where are too many overly agressive tunes. tunes which kinda doens't awake any other feeling then just punching the wall.

maybe we don't hear boomtap ever again, or maybe in some other key, never know. would be sad tho.

I think Liam is still in the TDIME era but wants to go back to his ''roots'' AND try something new too... Which is impossible to do.Thats why we got tracks like Resonate or Boom for the album or just for testing.

BOOM is amazing on big speakers.I dont care about the lyrics/vocals even if on the studio version was Scatman J.(RIP).

I wonder if Boom Tap gets played again on their UK tour and if so what changes there might be. Maxim said the crowd went quiet so I'm betting some changes will be made.
