Trent Reznor's work shit? is that what I just read, on this topic? Woa... the shit has hit the fan! Only Year Zero is crappy... With Teeth is a masterpiece, and the remixed version of Year Zero isn't made by Trent Reznor at all! Then you have Ghosts, 36 little instrumentals, more or less the same ammount of what Prodigy played live through the years and never released. And now The Slip, a fine little piece... BOTH AS A FREE DOWNLOAD.

And above all that, as long as music is free, I don't care if it's top-notch or a little downgraded.. It's pretty much like Shadow, First Warning and Who the Fuck is Eddy Cochran. They are cool while they last, but not exactly spectacular music. At least Trent Reznor is spoiling his fans. ISomething Prodigy doesn't do. :?

Two fucking free albums of The Prodigy, in a few months time, imagine it?

Prodigy - Regroup (Unreleased studioversions of live tracks from 1998 - 2008)
Prodigy - Ammunition (Instrumental album: 36 tracks)

Pffff... call Trent Reznor's work shit, but fucking hell... That dude can work fast. I'm not complaining about him at all. There's tons of reasons to complain about The Prodigy's way of releasing stuff, andlately, those releases aren't exactly 'wow'ing me at all compared to pre-2002. (if they ever do that...) :?

Agreed! I think Prodigy could release tons of unrealeased material very quickly, and still make alot of money on it! Liam just have to give the tracks away for mastering....

Was browsing some other fansites and there is some short of confusion about when the new album will be out and stuff. They probably done interviews telling the same thing somewhere, more or less, dunno, I can only tell you what they told us there:
8 tunes ready but not mixed yet, needs another 3 or 4 tracks for the Album. Liam doesnt know when the new album will be out, because simple you cant say when those tracks will be ready and when they r gonna get mixed and mastered. After that, never forget the 2-3 months of copy pressing and promotion of the new Album after its done, and since Liam doesnt like the "Christmas" time of year for a release, I am really guessing, and thats my personal opinion, that the Album will be out next year BUT we can hope for a single this year? Now I see we forgot to ask them about any singles b4 album release Sad . Anyway, thats all, he didnt say which tracks will be on the Album, the only thing he said is that they are ready to play more new tunes from the forthcoming album (but as said b4, they arent mixed yet). Then there was "something" in the ear about changing Their Law and make it maybe faster, or a gabba version of it, but this was mostly funny talk at the moment (I was mostly convicing him to never drop Poison from the setlist as its my fav tune Razz ). Poison Live changed over the years slightly with some simple changes over the years and I think Liam isnt ready to drop their law from the setlist so maybe the slighty changing their law talk there. Let me say sitting there with the guys and listening to the ideas and talking about them makes u understand that the band will be certnely here for the next 20 years... so many ideas, visions etc. of course parts of them will be realised, but some exciting stuff there IF things should happen that way. Anyway, back to normal life now..

Is that really Keith? doesnt seem plausible.

That's what many many people are saying.

Too bad With Teeth holds some of the big anthems, pretty much like Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned... Don't get me wrong, but Right Where it Belongs kills me (in a good way) everytime I hear it. That same counts for Spitfire and The Way It Is, both also on an album not really groundbreaking.

Ofcourse The Fragile is better than the new stuff in many ways... but NIN doesn't 'end' there. Just like Prodigy, its different now. Other directions you know? Prodigy is no different than that.

NIN shit? no way... they're groundbreaking, doing things for fans that no one else is doing. Fragile was alright for me, better than Year Zero which was eh, but With Teeth, Ghosts and The Slip are pretty damn good. maybe not the greatest, but still good. actually With Teeth and Downward Spiral are a close tie for my fave.

The Prodigy has so much material they could've put out for the sake of it... as a CD, a free download, anything would be nice.

to have to wait for an album until '09 is a bit ridiculous to me after this whole new website overhaul, the "we have an album title and song titles," and he even stated multiple times it would be out by the end of this year.

for all the bullshit, we deserve a double album, at lease maybe a live DVD or CD to go with it.

i usually don't like to complain, but hearing this 2009 crap pisses me off.

On the subject of a single. Who really buys singles anymore? Is there really any point in releasing a single in this day and age? Of course I would love a single, but I thought singles were phasing out now. The Spitfire single wasn't even available in high street shops was it? And that was just over 3 years ago...

On the other hand need a single to make a video...
