I bet there are some crazy folks here who are gonna speculate about Liam G joining The Prodigy right now, meant half-serious and half-'funny' .

He wont join them, but I seriously think a new collaboration is definitely on the cards. Liam will collaborate with the Prod n Noel will collaborate with the Chems, definitely. Noel will do a solo album as well as collaborations with people like Paul Weller n Ian Brown whereas Liam won't put out a Liam G solo album but will definitely collaborate with others, similar to what he's done before with Death in Vegas n the Prod. As for Liam formin a new band? I dunno, I think it could be a good move, they'll never be Oasis but as long as they put out some good tunes I'm all for it! Its a chance for both of them to get away from the old sound they've been stuck in for so long n try something new.

On one hand I want him to be involved for my greed, on the other I don't want him wasting his time and talent on this...

I doubt Liam H will have anything to do with Liam Gs new band, he might do one odd track but that will be about it. Liam G is just carrying on Oasis but under a new name, Andy now plays guitar so they need a new bassist. Minus Noel, you gotta admire Liams determination to carry on. I don't expect the new album to be a classic or nothing, if its good then its a plus. Was listening to Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants the other night, really really under-rated album. Noel pretty much wrote AND produced that entire album himself and its great, love the oldskool breaks n electronic elements on it. [If you get chance then you should listen to the demos bootleg from it]. When Noel finally gets round to doing his own solo album (which he will), I can imagine it being alot like SOTSOG. Should be quite electronic too, Falling Down sounded like Oasis covering the Chemical Brothers so I'm sure thats a sign as to what direction he wants to move into.

Haha, come on! the original version of shoot down, 'the gun or guns' as it was called was fucking mega!!! Even noel fuckin loved that early version, hence why he played it on radio 1. The way the final album version of shoot down turned out was Liam H's fault! he just killed it completely in a rushed attempt at remixing it to fit the sound of the rest of the album, am I wrong?
