Where the fuck did this remix come from though? No one knew about it. I know Jay Z has a greatest hits coming out or something, that's what the advert on TV I saw said, so maybe this is to do with that?...
Guess not :

Maybe on volume 2...?

Nice!
I like it!
Another great track to add to the Prodigy remix catalog
Glad to see Liam returning to the hip hop roots
which is what IMD lacked the most
Yeah, he definitely played that synth riff live during fills
funny, kinda the same way that Release Yo Delf riff was used for Poison back in the day.
But, wow, a nice surprise!
Out of nowhere.
At least we know Liam's still rocking out beats during the down period.

I trust you- but is that what you think or what you were told? the spitfire synths, the drumroll from bak to skool, the guitar stabs; and the sound SCREAM '04 to me.
On first listen, My guess was that this was written before spitfire... or just after, using a few of the same bits.

Its going by what was said bewteen by Zane Lowe and GarethPendulum on twitter earlier today
GarethPendulum
@zanelowe oh snap! Forgot he was doing that did you hear it? RT @GarethPendulum peep this! http://bit.ly/9MUyoZ
so you can take from that that its pretty recent

thanks man, still dosent close the case shut for me. What makes it hard is focusing on the production rather than the sound- if this was a fully finished remix meant for a possible release, it would make sense that it was in the AONO era, it just has that sound...
but if it was recent, and just quickly exported off howletts laptop and not properly produced... I could believe its new.
Just, some of the bits in there are old and I wouldnt see Liam recycling them for this.
it's from '04 - '05. I owe every BK'er 1 american cent if Im wrong (and thanks to inflation here, by the time Im proven wrong a piece of toilet paper will be worth more)
TP for all!

Its the "i forgot he was DOING this" that makes me think recent, it it was old surely he would have said "i forgot he HAD DONE it"

hmm, maybe its just my mood but this done nothing for me
sounds a bit boring in my opinion, don't get me wrong, i do like liams live synth, its awesome but the remix itself feels pretty weak, long and boring, suppose it would be alright for a nightclub.
wouldn't be surprised if this was something from 04/05 this wouldn't be something liam would let us hear this compared to all the other shit he's done this era, i also think liam isn't focused much on just randomly remixing hip hop at this point in time, maybe in 05, that live synth has been around since 2005. still doesn't get old with me though.

i guess it's unreleased old mix and pendulum have heard about it around 2004/2005 when they were doing voodoo people remix, that's why gareth forgot that liam was doing it. but it's only my guess, as long as liam or zane dont comment on it we won't be sure.
