I just cannot imagine how one can compare this tune to Narayan for example or to be happy with it cause they "can sing along to it" or get that "happy vibes". Is that what you like about The Prodigy - singing along and getting "happy" vibes? There so many other acts that bring those things. Don't we love The Prodigy cause their sound is bold, edgy and dirty? They are not a sing along band, they are not the happy positive band! I don't need that from them. I need the sound that makes you wanna go crazy and do stupid stuff! The real rave vibe, the real punk vibe they had. My hopes are still alive though. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album. Experience was the exact definition of the thing you are accusing them of not being...

It kinda feels like Firestarter while listening to this track for me. And Weather Experience makes me feel good. Love listening to it while taking a walk Im not sure if people want to destroy stuffs while listening to it TRANS4MER wrote: Fakin ill wrote: Its not dark and im afraid Ibiza wont even be good. But idk. Maybe it got Heatwave beats on it. oh man I really hope Ibiza contains some Heatwave parts in it..damn that track was awesome The riff/tune at the beginning of the track would really make it good tho it seems that Liam is just ditching all the good tunes he made and is now creating tunes we never heard before.

Yes that was almost 25 years ago when their sound was not yet completely defined plus the whole scene used to sound euphoric back then. Nowadays they can go to so many more new directions.. especially when Liam claims that the sound would be "violent". The Day Is My Enemy is a great tune and I love it but WF..man come on..

Experience was one big happy vibe, which is still my favourite album. For me this is great that Liam made this track, what others think, i dont really care.. Respect..

I agree that this tune is not dark at all. I like the track, dont get me wrong but the cover and The Day is so dark. It is the intro of the album, to show you what the fuck its all about. Then after that, comes a dark song about butts. Then, we have the next single, Wild Frontier. The lyrics are kinda dark but man, does it really fit in? Im not saying that 8-bit cant be dark. If i remember correctly, theres a town in pokemon red/blue named Lavender Town that had creepy 8-bit. Well im not sure what to expect. Maybe Rebel Radio is going to be a happy track too. The only part of the tune that gave me dark chills have to be the beginning and ending of it. Its so sad and dark in a good way. Rest, is something else. I like the track alot, one of my new favs but i would not call it dark at all.

New album has many directions. Tdime, nasty and wild frontier they are all completly diffirent styles. So new album is going to be full of variety which is good. As for the catchiness of the tune, there are many the prodigy tracks that are catchy as hell. But yeah, everybody have own opinion. I personaly like the track most of the 3 they released so far.

U can definitly feel the experience vibe in WF. Love that that fabolous breakdown around 3 min. I realy dig that each track so far got totaly different vibe. I mean would be great 2 get new LP, which wouldn't be repetive. Anyway WF is radio friendly. Maybe a bit 2 much. Will work perfect live for new fans.

Nothing is comparable with Narayan and all this stuff. But I think that now this is nothing new. I remember that when at first glance aono came out, i hate it, because I would expected something different an qualitatively similar to the fat of the land. Then i realized that it was 2004, not '97 and even though it is possible always to ameliorate, the prodigy just did not want to "beat the same tracks " . It could even seem sad, but it is a way to evolve their sound. We have not forget the fat of the land, or jilted or experience, but we have to keep in mind that it is 2015 and, frankly speaking, here around there's nothing comparable to this stuff. I repeat, I can understand the disappointment, but as already said, we're in a new period. Take Spor for instance… I personally like his remix of Nasty, but I'm actually fucking bored by his album Caligo. Same speech for bands as Pendulum. In the nowadays time it's hard to find good stuff and I think that the prodigy did their best so far (apart some shits like fighter beat, phoenix, the way it is, stand up and few more).

Endor wrote: hope to God this demo http://youtu.be/cDiGU7aabGU ends up on the album because it sounds fresher then those three new tracks combined. unfortunately it won't end up on the album - it's an IMD era demo.. which is better than most tracks on IMD and def better than Nasty and Wild Frontier.. it's just sad that tracks like this and Heatwave for example have not been released

wallace and gromit bullshit video. what an embarrassment to go from being as visually powerful as they were sonically..back in the day..to this. hell, even BGAT had a decent video which had bite. this video is just...not prodigy. i cant believe he approved this. and i agree with the whole weird animal slaughter thing...its like cheap heat. the wrong type of cheap heat too.
this song aint doing much for me personally, its ok in places i guess.. but i shouldn't come to expect ok from this band. thats the main issue. it goes back to me previously stating that if this didnt have prodigy written on it, would people give it a second listen? or merely label it as a 'liam ripoff copycat' etc.....
and the people getting their knickers in a twist about people having negative opinions though need to take a step back i think. its getting tiresome seeing people complain that anyone who is prepared to be critical (in any shape or form!!! not ALL of it is trolling.!!) is boring, or a cunt, or a wannabe or a has-been or a whatever. Seriously people, its a difference of opinion..get over it and grow up!!

You could have just tattooed "Twat" on your forehead. You'd have the same end result. You dont deny being a chav, though.
