jonyintheplace wrote: So as I said before, this is a forum, we are all entitled to give an opinion, I was catalogued as a hater because I just criticized some aspects of their recent productions, now I like this, but I'm not either a silly fanboy or an angry hater who's stuck firmly in 96.
Having said this, some fanboys are really embarrasing on this forum. So then... Who are you!? You are right. It's getting to the point where reading on here just isn't fun anymore. I think the cool thing about The Prodigy is that they have always evolved. They are - in a way - educating their fans. Making a new sound for every album is an achievement. A great one! And for an electronic act to have so much personality is just badass. I can't wait to hear with what weapons they will be conquering my mind this time. As always it takes some time to get into it. That's just how it is. Some people never really get "the new stuff" because it is a different might. Fakin ill wrote: Love listening to it while taking a wa nk Too much information there, man. (just kidding - I read it wrong. Had a laugh and wanted to share it). Endor wrote: hope to God this demo http://youtu.be/cDiGU7aabGU ends up on the album because it sounds fresher then those three new tracks combined. This one sounds good, but if it was released there would be too much moaning on this forum. So it probably isn't worth it... or IS it hyperspeed wrote: Rhythm Bomb is decent, yeah. Rhythm Bomb...? dUFE wrote: Best track Ive heard so far from the new album. abso love the video. This is a tune *I* wanted to hear from prodigy.
Ive been a fan as long as the majority of us.. watching so much stupid bickering here! Cant we all just settle down and realize what we do have in common is the prodigy and not much else?
Ive steered pretty clear of anything new in the past decade. Phuture Doom was the only album since IMD that brought me any excitement. same here. just heard it for a couple of times and somehow it gaves me the same feeling (i think the beat will do it) i had with the 'drum 'n bass type of style music back in the late-ninetees' which i love very much back then. love it.

just posting this to share my opinion with others. I know some of us haven't gotten their euphoric moment from the last 3 tracks from TDIME, and I hope you do, so that we can all have something to enjoy from a band that has brought us some great moments. Wild Frontier, for me, is possibly my 3rd favorite track since AONO. I really enjoy it, even if it does have an Omen-eqsue breakdown in it.

Man, Wild Frontier sounds awesome through my headphones in FLAC, well for me i'm really enjoying the last two tunes we've heard, Nasty as expected has lost my interest, but I love all the layers in this song, this is going to be banger live!!

Curious, how do you get it in FLAC? pre-ordered album from official store, changed the download link at the end from mp3 to flac, works a treat

It would be a little too scary to have fun with your hand while playing this song lol. I would suggest Climbatize.

http://www.nrc.nl/muziek/2015/02/24/kij ... egisseur/#Interview in Dutch with the makers of the video (it is getting quite some attention here in The Netherlands). Some highlights in case somebody is interested: - The mouse is called Nelson - the characters and storyline were the idea of the annimators - It took 2 months to make the video - The video is about Dualism. Good vs bad, and that bad is turned back into good - The fox at the end was Liams idea, to continue the storyline from Nasty - It needed to be a video with an edge and first the idea was that the Moose was going to shoot the kids but as that would look to much like an execution the director changed it to having their heads explode by a heavy sound The annimators were also on a Dutch tv show tonight explaining how the video came about, showing some making off video's etc. Program is watched daily by about 1 milion people so quite some exposure for the band, the new single and coming album. If anyone is interested I can post the link to the 10 minute segment which should come online soon.
