the 3 minute "shadow of the devil" doesn't have that fat flangey tweaking synth break down that the 1:30 Project Gotham trailer version has. it has that arpy synth leading to it, but then cuts back to the beat, then that high synth break and back to the beat again. Listen to the Project Gotham version, not the same.

@ StasZ: NEOREV was commenting on my post.

@ NEOREV: It was a misunderstanding then. I was referring to the 45 sec clip of "The Shadow" (from the Vexille soundtrack) that David Starter posted.
This whole thing with different titles can be a little confusing :?.
The version of the track from PGR4 game trailer is referred to as "Shadow" (without "The"). And now it looks that "The Shadow" from the Vexille movie is the same as "Shadow Of The Devil" (from the Reverb movie).

(the situation reminds me a little of "Under My Wheels" and many versions of it :))

Shadow of the Devil is the first version I think.

They pimped it up a little.

But Shadow of the Devil has that slow up-building I really like from Prodigy tracks.

And Shadow from PGR doesn't.

However both got samples themselves wich find me very satisfying.
I'm looking forward to the release of "Shadow" from PGR

that 45 sec clip for Vexille (The Shadow) sounds to me like the PGR version, but it just gets cut before the change up. and who knows what section of the track these movie/game traillers used, songs for movies always get cut up and rearranged.

Do your sources have ears?

I don't understand how that could be possible, can you tell me who your sources are, be it in a pm or public?

I hear differences too, I was only stating what I have heard officially. The band's management and the record label both told me that it's all the same track.
