a single is still a good idea to promote the album beforehand I think cuz of the music video.

And the moaning is back again. How can you say that there is no respect for the fans, look at what has happened so far this year: 4 new tracks in the set, frequent updates, 2 fan only gigs, load of pictures, not so bothered about fan recordings, etc. More has happened in the last 4 months than in the previous 4 years. Is that a lack of respect to the fans?

Yeah sure there isn't an album title and release date for the album yet but so what, of course the information provided by the band about the album is not always correct but you don't know the exact reasons why it seems to be delayed again. Remember they don't have to make a new album and they don't have to release stuff for free because someone else is doing that. And as far as I know the band never said album out in 2009 that is what the fans make of it., based on the latest information I would say Oktober seems likely.

Anything would be nice... but when that eddy cochran track was on the site soon people were moaning about how shit it was, hopefully just some beats etc. Sure it wasn't something spectacular but at least it was something which seems to be part of this new attitude towards the fans. Nice for the guys to read all this moaning again....

I'm into Prodigy since 1991 and now 17 years later I say Liam if the new tracks are an indication of the album take all the time you need to make that killer album that seems to be in the pipeline. (And in the meantime drop some old tracks every now and then during gigs instead of only the same old ones And come to Holland!)

i'm not complaining about the lack of new material or any such thing...

what i am saying is, and this is if the info we have is true, don't come out and play shows and telling people in interviews and the relaunch of the site that it'll be out before the end of the year if you really don't have a clue yet if it's ready. that's all i'm saying. if the album is gonna come out in '09, stop with all this second half of the year and before the end of the year talk. that's all. just be honest, "hey we got tracks finished and tracks we're still working on that we like. we would like to get it out before the year, but you know, a good album takes time, might be next year." that's all i'm asking.

but look at NIN, Trent spoils his fans, free shit to download, studio pics, a double album and another album within the same year and a huge tour on the way. fuck, Trent put an album up without even a mention or blurb on, just here ya go, enjoy. that's awesome for an artist of his caliber to do. respect goes out to him...

theres gonna be a single called "world's on fire" in summer, probably with one or two of the other new tracks on it. wof was explicitly mentioned before the club gigs to us fans and (as i heard it now in good quality) has the highest quality of them. warrior's dance, beat55 and mescaline sound a little empty whereas wof sounds complete.

from the impression i got from rock am ring, im 100% convinced that the forthcomming album is gonna fuck the dust out of everyone's speakers, given that the other material can keep up with the known tracks.

everything looks promising, the band is back together, the tunes are awesome. whenever liam finishes the album it will be worth the wait.

Like I said before, I´m a patient person and prefer a better later released album than an earlier released album wich sounds like crap.

But the word "crap" is relative to everyone´s opinion and taste.

You can compare it with "Warning" i.e. Most people prefered the first version, others the second version and most people were of the opinion that the released instrumental version was shite.

And yes - there are persons who think, that AONO is better than MFTJG !

Now a lot of people say "Wow - new tunes sound excellent" and after release of the album a lot of people will say "Well, that´s shite, cos early version of this and that tune was better!"

Prodigy has a BIG respect for the fans and I´m grateful for this. I know there will be come something nobody of us never expected. But if this will be a bomb or not, everybody has to decide it for him- / herself.

It´s like the good old days with every released album of prodigy in the past. They will win new fans and they will lost old fans and the other way around....

Be grateful for anything that you can get in moment !
