Probably that's why some of us, hardcore fans, are not to keen on it

Not liking a track because other people may like it how bad is that

I showed the WD youtube vids to some friends who are long time prodigy fans but did not like AONO at all, they all loved the track because it was how they remember Prodigy. They keep on asking me when is the album out and are there any gigs planned :) One of them heard WD live at a gig and said the vid doesn't do the track justice at all.

It would be cool if it was a single and a big hit, would show Prodigy is still relevant. Ah well it's on the album so I'm happy :)

Warriors Dance is directed more at the Prodigy old skoolers where as World's On Fire will grab the next lot of spotty little oiks to keep the Prodigy army marching on. IMO.

It's not simply 'other people', it's 'commercial people'. Knowing what type of music these people tend to like, it's hardly exciting that they like WD

To be honest mate I find that point of view pretty pathetic. WD clearly isn't some sort of commercial fish hook that Liam has created. It sounds pretty fucking fresh to me. The fact that he can create a tune that appeals to both the hardcore and the commercial market is something pretty special in my opinion. If you like a tune you like a tune mate, it doesn't matter who else likes/dislikes it. At least that's the way I've always fealt.

IMO Warriors Dance isn´t fresh. It´s not the melody, the bass or the beats´i don´t like. It´s the female-lyrics which disturbes me, cos it reminds me too much of that euro-dance 90´s commercial stuff. SO I hope the final release will be way better.

Cannot say why, but I must agree to the opinion of n/a , that the lyrics to "No Good" and "Girls" are much better....

As long no one mentioned or confirmed a new single on www.theprodigy.com you can say, there will be no single available IMO.

Yea sure it does mate, I'd agree with your point there but that's the ironey you see. Liam hits you with this cheesy chorus and then just when some sad bastard in their car is expecting a bit of tiesto BANG, he gets slapped in the face by something he never expected. Cha-ching, another prodigy fan in the bag.

When I first heard WD it just reminded me of the feeling I had when I first listen to Expierience and MFJG, and I liked it!

Eh.....Getting a bit off topic here?

Yeh we are off topic but all I gotta say is, when I first heard both WD and Unstoppable/Mescaline I got that feeling when ya hairs on the back of ya neck stand up coz something kicks so much ass. I like WOF too but I like the others just that little bit more.

I don't care if WD sounds cheesy or old skool or whatever ya wanna call it, I just know I like it. I'm sure the finished version will be even better.

Warrior's Dance was posted on an underground dance music site that I frequent as well as here and everyone was going mental for it. Lots of members commented how disappointed they were by AONO and stated that it was good to see The Prodigy making tunes that got them fired up again. If any tune that we've already heard should be released as a single then it's that. Trust.

And it 'aint fucking cheesey!

They should have Dave Grohl in the video going mental on the drums. Just like in No One Knows for qotsa! Rob should be in there aswell!

I may repeat myself here, but I'm not saying that WD is bad.
It's just that half of the tunes on AONO are better than it.

i agree even though everyone says it was real, because it was on a vynal, dj's can use cd decks too in the clubs as well so it could have just looked like a vynal
