Loving the new mix but also the new green wallpaper, sad it's soo small.

Wait for the CD release - it´s just a low-res cover-scan of the forthcoming release and I guess, you will have this in better resolution soon or you can do it for your own then ...

I think he's not talking about release cover, but this:

nice freebie from the guys.

I thought the insert was like the WEL download with insert and cd artwork. But the art is just a free simple for the new 3 cd/dvd edition??

Better than the original but really shitty mix.
I think Liam needs to take some mixing lessons from contemporary electrinc artists, they all get better results than him...

it is called a re-amped version. not meant as a real remix i think.

Yep, L said album version didn't really work live so he re-amped it, liked all the feedback and so give us it.

Thanks L 8-)

The new beats sound quite like Break & Enter 05 studio version, don't you think?...

Brings back memories of seeing them live. Shits over all the other IMD remixes imo

I agree on the quality on this mix. But its not a real single or anything. Also, there is nothing wrong with Liam's mixing-skills. Its just lazyness IMO. Remeber FOTL? Thats Liam's album. He did that.. and that album was just perfect when it comes to the technical part..

Definitely the Meat Beat Manifesto drums from Helter Skelter/Radio Babylon over the main beat. But yeah, the break was used all over the early rave stuff so it definitely isn't the first time Liams used it.

Spot on. Liam knows how to mix shit, but I had this slight feeling, that, since he moved into the digital only domain, he doesn't know how to do anymore. Or has gotten lazy...
Coz FOTL (and for my ears also Jilted and even EXP. in a way) sounded way ahead of everyone else in the electronic scene. Listening today to FOTL makes me think he even sonically/technically created a milestone. All while mixing most of the tracks at home still in earthbound... It just sounds not as crazily compressed as the current ed-banger-like shit (luckily), but frequency-wise absolutey dirty AND clean mixed.

Well, even if the re-amp is meant to be a goodie - c'mon, it's Liam. He used to have really tight quality control, why put out some half-baked stuff now... Other versions being played just live sounded better.
My guess is, he's suffering a little from listening fatigue by now.

yeh it may be possible his hearing aint as good as it used 2 be, and him being ''raw'' is a crock of shit. this, wtfu and B&E 05' are prime examples, always with the dodgy time-stretch artifacts. i fucking hate that sound
