Meanwhile, 'Shut Em Up' is a mash-up of 'Stand Up' by The Prodigy and Public Enemy's 'Shut 'Em Down' that began its life on YouTube when a fan put the two songs together. Liam Howlett got in touch with the fan and asked to tidy the rework up for inclusion on the album.

Liam of The Prodigy tells us: “Dope D.O.D.'s tune 'what happened?' is a certified banger so i rallied them up and got them to jump on my new mix of ‘the day is my enemy'. Boom.. Job done!"

This must be the fastest "soon" in Liam Howlett history. 4 days between hearing about it and the official release.

Is it a coincidence that the tv plays the ''END OF DAYS'' with Arnold?

Yeah, I seriously assumed that "soon" meant a couple of years.

the south central dmx is not bad at all. It blows me away, especially the middle oriental synths.

This time he must've had the track completed before giving the first teaser. I find unlikely that he did it in 4 days while touring at the same time. He even had a different edit for the live show. He gave many snippets in the same fashion during the album process but to me they always felt like he had done a raw sketch of something he just wanted to share in excitement. Between the sneak peeks and actual album tracks were several months so that's why this time the whole thing seems so damn fast! I like this new Liam already haha.

I didn't think he'd done the track in 4 days. When Liam says "soon" it usually means months, years or never.

It's a shame there are no 'Destroy' remixes. I wonder if that Future Funk Squad remix was official or just done for himself (if he ever finished it)? It sounded promising.
