If the rest of the songs deliver as well as WLF this is shaping up to be a top 3 album out of all 7.

I doubt that it will be better than Experience.

Me too, but it just might. Let me make clear that I'm talking of course about just the album, not the era tracks (that would be a clear winner for Experience). If you think about it, it's a pretty fair fight. It depends a lot on the rest of the 4 songs which have yet to be heard.

I said the same after WLF. But we can't forget the divisive three singles which preceded it.

Really cool to read all these opinions - I have heard only Need Some1 and Light Up The Sky. I am waiting to listen to the whole album from the vinyl.

I personally can't understand the low rating for NS1.

It's a great little tune, with great fun energy, awesome vocal sample and also a It's a killer live number.

It's just perfectly executed.

Agreed. The freshest track of all. After heard the 4 new tracks, NS1 is by far the most relevant track.

I know it will not be better. Every track on Experience are dope, and so far 2 songs are quite bad on NT.

I think No Tourists will be a mixed bag, but overall well worth it. That's my gut feeling, and I love the Experience vibes so to read that there's more of that makes me highly anticipate this.

This Argentinean radio station claims that they will play the full album tomorrow .

If it doesn't happen I hope they get some trolling. If it does I hope someone's recording!

I agree, though I have to say other than NS1 I think divisiveness is caused by personal taste, not actual quality of the tracks.
For anyone asking why NS1 gets moaned about, I think it's because it lacks the amount of sonic entities (independent instruments) Liam has accustomed us to in other songs (only the end of it is thick enough).
FFWF is divisive because of the punkish mourning vocals (the instrumental would be well received by the majority), but even with vocals many have said they have grown to like it after several replays. I dare to say FFWF is thicker than Diesel Power, but that is just my personal opinion.
And yes, LUTS would have been better with an other arrangement, but it still is a more than just good IMD/TDIME track which I would rather have than have not. I'd say the importance of LUTS is greater than the DnB version of Charly (as far as actual album content goes by comparison; meaning every track on No Tourists is some sort of well defined statement)
So NS1 is a dud because it's too simple. Fair enough, but the others can't be called duds, only uncanny. Over the years I've read 'divisive' opinions (not mine) about songs in FOTL and Exp like Serial Thrilla, Fuel my Fire, Climbatize (which Liam hates), and Your Love (Remix), so for tracks to be divisive is not enough to disqualify this album from the top.

There's huge potential in this album, much more than previously expected, and if rumours about the rest of the songs are true then it could become an important album in The Prodigy sphere, more than the last 3. Otherwise, I'm happy with what I got anyway, it doesn't need to be in the top, although it would be nice.
So, it remains to be seen.

Well said man.
The diversity so far is stronger than ever. I wasn't hyped for the new album, having not heard many new tracks live (for a change) since TDIME. The hype only grew from track to track and I'm more hyped than I ever was to hear the rest now.
Liam seems to have taken an unexpected direction, taking some risks and straying from the path in certain areas. The song structures feel more risky, surely by artistic choice. More modern perhaps? I wouldn't know and I don't really care.
All the tracks so far seem to be making a point, a concise effective point. It's not always what I would have wanted (or should I say, expected) as the tracks are all short, but if that's what Liam wants, then I'm buying that.
More please.

I think maybe it's down to the production side, working on his own as he has stated in interviews, not producing the album with Neil, that's probably a big step as to why this album is sounding a lot more divisive.
I remember hearing for example Rokweiller live from recordings and it changing so much from its conception to the version we heard on the album worriedly with Keith actually declaring Neil this one's yours or words to that effect.
If that is the case and it's all Liams work then I'm happy as there needed to be something different and if it means we don't have to wait 6 or more years for an album I'm on board with that.

Rokweiler album version is such a huge downgrade to the live.

If they would have kept the live version and all the energy of it itd easily be a Firestarter v2 kind of track but now its a forgotten album track. Where did the energy go?

I expected a huge dogbark from my speecher but it sounded so * lame. What happened to the energy? I expected the dogbarks to be actual raw loud dogbarks but it sounded to lame and electronic.

This albums track is indeed diverse. Ive noticed how similar the album tracks are to the live versions. It got energy atleast.

I hope Resonate wont be turned into a boring Rokweiler with no energy on it.

Can someone please confirm that this track got some energy on it?

"This record has definite urgency and aggression about it, but in a different way to the previous record. It’s got a certain old-school feel to it, people will hear the early Prodigy sounds coming back a bit. But also without being retro, it feels fresh. That’s what we get from it. Of course, we’re here to please ourselves with the music. We want to write good tunes, and tunes we know are going to deliver on stage and that's what we've done."

"People can download the music, feel the music, copy the music but they can't copy watching the band, you’ve got to be there, standing in front of the stage to experience the pure aspect of the band, the live side, it’s the pure way to connect with a band. We feel really protective and we try to keep the live side as pure as possible."
