ABOUT THE MOVIE

Vexille - 2077 Nippon Sakoku (movie)

Genres: Science Fiction

Plot Summary: In an alternate 21st century, Japan's scientists has perfected the art of biotechnology and robotics, its benefits extending the lifespans of all humans. However, the United Nations deemed the advanced technology a dangerous threat and started strict surveillance on Japan. The government of Japan refused to abide by UN's demands to halt research, in the year 2067 left the UN and isolated itself visually and communically. Ten years later, an American special forces unit by the name of SWORD, led by its female commander named Vexille, are sent to uncover the current status of the isolated Japan, after the country begins its plan to move. The shocking secrets they find will shock the rest of the world.

Anime News Service:ANS has confirmed negotiations are either complete or ongoing to have Vexille: 2077 Nippon Sakoku (http://www.vexille.jp/) be released in 53 countries. ANS recently compiled an an exclusive first look at Vexille which you can read here (http://www.animenewsservice.com/archives/vexille.htm).

Warner Music (http://www.wmg.com/) plans to release the CD soundtrack to the science fiction CG anime film Vexille: 2077 Nippon Sakoku (http://www.vexille.jp/) simultaneously in ten countries worldwide on August 18th, 2007. This marks first time ever that a OST for a Japanese film has been distributed on this kind of large scale. Contributing artists include Basement Jaxx, The Prodigy, Mink, Paul Oakenfold and DJ Shadow. Apparantly many are contributing brand new material created exclusively for the movie. something good, Cooking Vinyl seems to be doing a good promotion (if it is doing it and if it has already started doing it), cause there's a first new track (if we except First Warning) and it's already doing three exclusivities

what's also funny, is that the track has already been assingned at three different places but with three different names
"Shadow", "Shadow of the Devil" and now "The Shadow"
maybe its three alternatives (different versions or mixes) of te same track, thats why they could all say its an exclusivity (even if only know that people of PGR4 has said that)


anyway, just wondering... :roll:

Nothing can top the excitement of that first Girls radio rip. After YEARS and YEARS of waiting, that was so 'n amazing. Everyone was buzzing out of their minds. And Girls was like nothing they had done before. It's definitely one of the best tracks he ever did. That's what the next single needs to be like, something that's just in a totally different direction then everybody's expecting.

I am surprised that this hasnt leaked yet...considering the anime fans and that they are just as crazy as prodigy fans

Nice find David, it`s a good tune although I`m still hoping this is just leftovers from AONO. AONO Part 2 would be a disaster on the band`s part.
