The Prodigy's first show of 2008 has just been announced........

They will be headlining at the UK's biggest ever electronic music event GATECRASHER'S SUMMER SOUND SYSTEM FESTIVAL on 24th May 2008.

This massive festival will be a mixture of live bands, DJ's, 20 arenas, 20,000 campers and best of all The Prodigy playing live in the UK in almost 2 years. Fans will hear for the first time some tracks from The Prodigy's highly anticipated new album as well as being treated to some classics . So if you are going prepare your ears for a battering! Other acts on the main stage will include the Brazilian band CSS and Simian Mobile Disco.

The festival which is being held over the May bank holiday weekend will take place at Turweston Aerodrome, near Brackley Northamptonshire.

This only means that Liam wasnt paranoid about playing new tracks. He just didnt have any, lol.

Stop being so negative.. They never said they would actually ply new tracks until now. Only thing they said is small things MIGHT bleed into the set. So I'm a 100% certain that we hear at least one new song at Gatecrasher 8-)

i've heard the same before Creamfields 2006. they didnt play anything new then so i think they wont do this time as well

Nah, they're probably gonna say they're about to play a fill but then they'll drop No Good, the 2008 version.

Nope they played Den Ken back in 2005 at the Manchester Apollo, was an old track and they played the same set at Creamfields as they did for most of 2006
