IMD TV Advertising Campaign.

Maybe The Prodigy aren't getting the sales they wanted in Australia, it turns out, cos they now have a new television ad advertising the album Invaders Must Die...it's basically the Omen video with all those lightning-bolt designs flying everywhere...with the Invaders Must Die logo like thumping over the top. Strange...i did not think they would advertise the album on tv...let alone during primetime news programme, Ten News....also this seems a bit late considering the album came out 19th February here and has been out of the top 50 for like 3 or 4 weeks. The album originally enjoyed around 4-5 weeks inside the top ten in Australia peaking at #3.

Was their a similar TV ad in other places?

I personally never ever seen an advert for it and i'm in the UK, infact i've never even seen any promotion any where else either apart from the web and even at that it was only on the prodigy website

I mentioned the advert a month or so back in the IMD thread, seen it a few more times aswell

yeah I've seen the UK ad too on one of the freeview channels

I've seen it once and that was about 2 weeks ago, bit late for advertising it i though haha. Then again, i saw an advert for SOAD's hypnotise on german MTV earlier in the week

Advertise appears on german TV, too but the album was in top ten here... dunno why they aired it so late. After Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park they should have sold more copys I think.

my GF said it was in the background of a scene in eastenders! the IMD poster, the only time i ever got excited about a programme like that

yeah saw an IMD ad on TV last week actually which made me stop in my tracks and take note! was on Ch4 at night, no idea what programs it was inbetween. prob just capitalising the fact they are playing a lot of major festivals this year and keeping the promo strong

This little brat (jk) does her rendition of Firestarter in a talent contest on Friday's Eastenders (BBC1 8pm), should be worth a giggle.
