The track's got incredible attitude though. That's why I enjoy it. Technically it's a typical HV track, but yeah...it's the flavour and attitude that makes it.

Yeah i completely agree. Its not a really interesting track. Almost a shitty D'n'B. except its more like Punk'n'Bass. Quite unfinished and the end part is rather flat. Just added that part a few hours before the deadline. As we all do, aren't we ? I guess mixing skills saved my ass.
Had no chance to try out on big soundsystem the sub-bass part might sound dull. (only once rather drunk and sleepy, and it souded shite for my ears) If anyone can test it for me, i could use some response.
Thanks for the votes tho, i might have not deserved it.

Thrice.
I like it! But I just think if more work had been poured into it..... It could have been really sweet.

I think this competition has taught me that I would rather listen to track with higher production/mastering quality than those with better or great arrangements.... which is strange - I have always appreciated (and still do) a great song with a brilliant arrangement that may not be produced to a mega high standard... but I suppose when its thrown amongst tracks whose production stands out from the rest and whose arrangements are average or better, then I can't help but prefer the better mastered ones....
Thats the lesson I've learnt. Tomorrow I will learn about the alphabet.
Having said all that, I still think chickentown arrangement is great and worthy of my vote, yet I think there is room for improvement.
Good mixing gets votes.
I love you guys
Lets get married

Funny how that happens, isn't it? That's pretty much how chart music works....it's nearly all total shit but they spend loadsa dosh on production and mastering so that it's very legible to the masses.
