Hi guys

well i've got something, but the Prodigy part was recorded by a friend (while i ran on to the 2nd row) and she didn't handle the camera very well, but it's better then nothing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toumNn_B_NI

clicky and watch it in HD

I dunno if i preferred this year's or last year's (@ Marés Vivas, Porto) act. But either-way, it was freaking awesome.

It's about time to see them here outside a festival, don't you think? I really hope they announce some dates for December (after the Barcelona and Madrid gigs).

Cheers.

Some Report

A concert of The Prodigy is to establish an intense experience. I knew that before entering the enclosure of the Optimus Alive! but I suspect that would be an experience so intense. Mal came onstage, the audience went to the red by way of greeting and started when the World's on Fire, well, it was crazy. There was no quiet, all jump and push.
Obiamente, this was fairly dangerous so many people (mostly girls) had to be pulled by security to avoid hurt. If before the concert had seen some of Prodigy 5 people to be pulled, when the concert started and to finish I saw many dozens.
The Prodigy on stage are an interesting experience, while different from the songs of the CDs, each song has a connotation that makes us identify the genius of Prodigy each time, no matter how modified it is.
Maxim, the MC, did everything to interact with the public and increase the excitement of this. And can it so great. What about when Smack My Bitch Up, when the public was in ecstasy all sat at the request of Maxim and stood up all at once. G.e.n.i.al.
Keith, the singer and dancer was the image of rebelliousness and irreverence that has always guided the Prodigy. It is easy to see why the band are the Prodigy sold more electronics ever. Why are the best.
Never in a concert so intense and I recommend to all. Any concert that makes you forget where you are, who you are, what you are for you only remember a thing (dance and feel) is a good concert. And nobody does it like The Prodigy.

Rave of the sky with electronic Prodigy
Between new and traditional songs, the concert of the Prodigy was the peak intensity of this Friday in Alive! 09. The trio recorded the largest UK membership of the second day of the festival of Algés, previously hosted concerts of good Placebo, Late of the Pier or Fischerspooner.

The Prodigy may have had its golden phase at creative - in their first three discs in the 90s - but live their reputation remains virtually unassailable. The concert this Friday at Paseo Marítimo de Algés showed why, in an hour and a half pyrotechnic sound almost piercing.

"Invaders Must Die," the fifth and newest album, was the pretext for action, while new issues have shared role with older singles and emblematic. And could hardly be otherwise, since the public would not be complacent with the lack of themes such as "Firestarter," "Breathe" and "Voodoo People."

If these traditional aroused a hysteria that has been anticipated, the new songs seemed to be candidates to achieve the same status. "Omen" and "Warriors Dance" in particular, served as the fuse for widespread screams and jumps that the two vocalists - Keith Flint and Maxim more communicative - is tasked to maintain and encourage.

What both sang and said was not particularly relevant, since the interest that has been the optimal management of electronic Liam Howlett, the leader of the project. Still, it was the origin of the Maxim one of the most remarkable moments of this whole issue of Alive, when called at the end of "Smack My Bitch Up", to which the public is below.

And the vast majority of a large crowd joined, raising it a few seconds as the song grew in intensity. The spread of hops resulted in a great cloud of dust and spilled beer, but nobody seemed too bothered when dancing was a priority.

"Take Me to the Hospital" reported another similar episode when Maxim asked that all lift their arms. The application, as the previous one was accepted, another moment of anthology that rivals the contest in the giddy end of "Poison", between the singer and drummer who accompanied the band.

The cement a strong action of a well oiled machine yet, "Out of Space", one of the first songs the group, ended in a brilliant performance somewhere between a wonderful stadium and a concert of rave megalomaniac outdoors.
