First of all, what a fucking gig. The boys played their hearts out and looked like they really enjoyed themselves. Leeroy was backstage with them and gave a few waves to us that spotted him.
The support was shite. Noise Control were first and then Arveene dj-ing.
The boys arrived on stage at about 9.30
Setlist as follows:
Computer Intro (not much of an intro imo)
Worlds on Fire
Breathe
Breathe Dubstep
Omen
Poison
Their Law
Warriors Dance
Firestarter
Run with the Wolves
JERICHO!!!!
Voodoo People
Comanche
--------------------
Omen Reprise
Invaders Must Die
Diesel Power
Smack My Bitch Up
Take Me To The Hospital
Out of Space
Yeah Liam's synth blew during Jericho, bit of silence after it happened but they got it sorted quick.
Have to say Their Law didn't work in the set at all, it seemed a bit sluggish after Poison, even Poison wasn't the best but i'm nitpicking here.
Firestarter was surprisingly the 2nd best song of the night. It definitly had the biggest impact. But obviously Liam really pulled it out of the bag when Jericho came on. It was slightly different that the version played at Brixton. The beats at the 2nd part of the song were really banging.
Overall the atmosphere there was brilliant, everyone was really up for it as The Prodigy haven't played a dedicated gig here since 2005.
So after the gig I made my way back to the hotel, quickly got changed and back to the Savoy where Leeroy was dj-ing. Started off his set with his remix of IMD. Not a bad remix at all but he played a very nice breaks set with a few prodigy tunes mixed in. Afterwards he was mobbed almost by everyone trying to shake hands and get pics etc.
I'll post a few pics and videos later on
