Well, June, with official letters and statements this is pretty much on topic, unless you make a new one. Accepting off topic everywhere on forum but not letting people argue on topic? I'm out of this discussion anyway, I said what I had to say but don't lock the possibility to discuss the issue for others.
+ last PinHead comment was so rude that I would expect a warning for that one.

too much hassle for such a small shit. why dont we all sit down and watch advertises on tv and discuss how the new colgate toothpaste contains damageful things when it is not mentioned in the advertise? i mean come on... EVERYONE does so big deal of it, even the prodigy themselves. something to get on page 1 in a newspaper or what?
stop being like this. consider it two-ways
1 - "prodigy dont understand poland mentality" - fuck this. whoever says this i can answer like you dont understand prodigy mentality.
bless this, cause all they have to understand is not the poland mentality but the fact that for example im always in front row and the reason i can remain there till the end of the gig is because i can hold on to the fences so as people cant push me away.
2 - "fences are needed" - fuck this too. if woodstock has no fences, fine. im actually happy the crowd is so great there you can keep your place without holding on. and if there are fences, why would I just give a fuck? i dont go there for the fences but for the prodigy (or for the festival), fuck cares about some 3d-shaped-made-of-metal-stuffs.
and why i quoted chaosu on pinhead? because he hasnt got to be warned. this is place to explain your point of view. that is his. not your shirt, dont dress in it, you know.

I wrote that because i got complaints from members about this topic going out of topic. Instead of locking it, i thought it'd be better to give a heads up. I don't like locking topics anyway

Woodstock doesn't. Fuck off if you want one.
*PinHead* > how can you get so aggresive just because someone says something unpleasant about your beloved band? My opinion is that fences weren't needed. But i'm not gonna cry about it at nights... That's all for the topic.
Gosh, i didn't like the concert, i guess it's the end of the world!
Really, it's not a good concert for me, if it could have been played from tape and we wouldn't here the difference...
And i'm not alone in my opinion - here's link for survey (in polish):
http://uctok.com/topics74/koncert-prodigy-vt2890.htm
Let me explain the scale (from top): revelation, very good, good, average, poor, pathetic

Again its not fence as you keep saying, but BARRIERS. Check the dictionary, they are not the same thing.

Woodstock sounds to me as a very crappy, unsafe, hostile, hippie dippie festival... have fun with it, sticking with the proper fests in europa !

It's 2011 for fucks sakes. If you don't understand the purpose and need for safety barriers then.... There's something wrong with you. Simple as that. When there's THAT amount of people there needs to be precautions. Where's the common fucking sense?
If that offends you.... Too bad.

zbyniu wrote: there was 700 000 people on Prodigy's gig. It's the official information from the major polish department. Source (in polish only): http://www.wojewodalubuski.pl/index.php?mod=inf&act=more&nID=1070...so I use my trusty Google translate; Quote: What lessons from Woodstock? 1.3 thousand liters of donated blood more than 1.5 thousand people with services, inspections, and working to secure 700,000 participants in a brief balance of the seventeenth Woodstock. The Lubuskie Regional Office held a summary of the event, which was attended by representatives from the departments responsible for security during the festival.
The meeting hosted by Governor Lubuski Hatka Helena. At the time of admission the participants spoke about the activities performed during the festival. Thus it was possible to develop applications which will be used in organizing the event next year.
Police estimated that for three days, including Woodstock could go up to one million people. This is a huge number for Kostrzyn, which every day has about 18,000 inhabitants. The event was secured in 1572 people with services, and fire inspections. Among them are also our neighbors from behind the Oder. Culminating in a concert of The Prodigy, when the box arrived wodstockowe about 700,000 music fans.
During the meeting, Mayor Andrzej Kunt Kostrzyn assured that next year will work with Witnica Debno and because the areas near Woodstoku administratively belong to the cities. He also said that municipal sewage treatment plant had to operate at high speed. So next year you will need to lean on this problem. It is also necessary to increase parking spaces. Every year the cars coming to the party more and more people.
It is important to streamlining the escape routes on the field. The organizer should also provide more taps and toilets. - Next year, you have to prepare guides for travelers to Kostrzyn. They have in them to find information about diversions, closed roads and parking spaces - said Governor of St. Helena Hatka. Also needed is a greater number of officers on the roads and the railway station on the day of departure.
A little statistics: - Acc. estimates on the field at the height wodstockowym during concerts Prodigy was about 700 thousand people. - Party secured the 1572 people with services, fire and inspection (including the German service) and 221 vehicles - Police revealed 86 incidents (less than last year by 34) - Fire brigade intervened 891 times (more than in that year of 539) - Health inspection carried out 145 checks (issued mandates for the amount of 800 zł) - Over 3,000 people have cast 1,381 liters of blood
Whoa.
