Epic fun in Brid the other night, even if it was from the balcony. Bit of a different view than what i'm used to as i'm usually Front & Centre.
Good sized scrum at the front jumping all the way through with a good pit about two thirds from the back of the room :-D
Icing on the cake was seeing the boys after the show. Bunch of thoroughly nice chaps

wall of death wud work better if the whole track follows the beat structure at the "fuck you and your heart attack" bit. makes it able to mosh and jump to it. such a beast of a tune.. it deserves to work better. haven't heard it live, though maybe liam should develop the low end a bit more (to make it as punching as diesel) and bring out the beats a bit more 2 the front

i can't believe the crowd not going nuts for Wall Of Death...
it's like they can't understand what to do to it.

it's a mosh track, it's a metal track... sorry all you want to do is hop and dance around.
But that's NOT Wall Of Death... Wall Of Death is full on, go insane MOSH TRACK.

people always bash American crowds, but i'm sorry, bring that track here and we'll show you how to react to it.
it's funny how sometimes certain songs work with a certain country's audience.

perhaps Wall Of Death should be the second to last track live...
Maxim needs to let the crowd know to go mental on that one.
Once Wall Of Death is done, play Take Me To The Hospital... because that's where everyone in the audience is gonna go after they mosh/smash each other with Wall Of Death because that track should be a huge mosh pit.

It's not the people, it the track that is the problem..

It may sound like a mosh track but it just does not work live. In Amsterdam the crowd went mental as soon Breathe started, mosh pits, circle pits (one even half the size of the floor)during the whole concert but as soon as Wall of Death kicked it the cowd went flat (GYFO got the same reaction), it lacks something to get a crowd going, you can't mosh, jump or dance to it it's a mess. Only when the fuck you and your heart attack bit kicks in people got into the track. And come on a good track does not need directions from the MC to get a crowd go mental on it, it's not a USB-DJ put your hand up crowd it's a Prodigy gig! A good track get people moving instantly, I was at the show where they played the original version version of Rock-Weiler for the third time ever (Indian Summer festival one week after Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park), basically nobody there had heard it before but with second the whole crowd was jumping/moshing and going mental. I also thought WOD would be insane live but it was dissapointing. They should have tested it live last year and tweak it a bit.
