1 - that doesn't prove anything. the poster can be fake, and this is just a print-out of a fake poster.
2 - if the organizers didn't use photoshop to make the poster, what software was used?
3 - yes, I am an asshole
...as soon as the phase II line-up is confirmed I'm buying my tickets (updating a website with news I would think would be a lot quicker and easier than making a poster, but what do I know...)

I think it's real. It makes perfect sense for Prodigy to play over here. I was already thinking about the chances of them playing at Ultra again. It's been 3 years since they were there, the new album is out and obviously will have limited exposure in the US, and if it was fake what are the chances that whoever made it would know to use the new Prodigy logo?

haha its not you being an asshole, its you being wise. we do not know if its real or not, but i personally thinks it looks too legit (i dont think anyone would go THAT far, but who knows)
the guy who posted it says he works for UMF and he isn't with the group who updates the site. but it will be up soon i'm sure.

And another from Coachella 2009, with The Prodigy, Daft Punk and Underworld, among rock acts.

Yeah Ultra is always well slow with updating the phase lineups. Might be a while. But also if you look on the Ultra myspace Prodigy is the #1 friend which I know they weren't before, at least not until back in 2006 when they headlined it

There are a ton of fake coachella posters for this year. They're relatively easy to spot.
What I was referring to was someone making a poster, including all of the sponsors, and then printing it out to make it look like a scanned copy or a picture of a printed copy. That's dedication right there.

fuck it'll be expensive though. there goes my tax return! Well I think they haven't announced any other US dates yet because they were waiting for UMF to announce it first. How long after they announced they were playing UMF 06 was it before they added the other dates? OK so I looked it up on the old site and UMF 06 was known by at least Dec 15 2005 and DC and NY weren't confirmed until January 24 2006 though Liam said he wanted to play some other gigs in DC or NY when they announced Miami. So here's hoping they add some more dates this time too.
