Well, they fucked ROCKED San Jose!!! Same setlist as usual...
But HOLY SHIT! Poison, Run With The Wolves, Diesel Power never sounded sooooo good and heavy!! The audience were fuckin terrible and a joke. Maxim looked pissed at the beginning how dead the audience was, I was with a group of 3 other people going off, and Keith came over and acknowledged us with thanks... I like how Maxim started the show off by saying "This is what we do in the UK"...if only people understood what they were witnessing! The production was really great for an opening set environment, short and sweet really... hard to really review it, considering how dead the crowd was and there was nothing to feed off of. But this was indeed a great set and not to be missed.

it is a shame that people arent up to Prodigy at those gigs - Last Prodigy tour i saw Prodigy in Copenhagen and Hamburg, and people where really up to "Enter Shikari" and bussing it off.
So maybe the Linking Park audience just is a bit lame.

WTF?!?
Quote: The mood was set for the night when the first twangs of "Breathe" by Prodigy filled the HP Pavilion. And it was decidedly going to be loud and aggressive. The godfathers of warehouse rave assaulted the nearly full arena in San Jose with strobes and smoke machines, very much fusing the rock and electronic scenes like Linkin Park has been doing for so many years.

Poo let me tell you something about these shows in the US. Linkin Park is terrible now and no one wants to pay what they are asking. My friend is trying to get into the staples center for the show tonight and the cheapest ticket is $135. If you look at the smaller venue shows the prodigy headlined in Detroit and Chicago a couple years ago those crowds were going ape shit. The people going to these shows now are fans of the new linkin park wanting to sing along to bleed it out and what I've done when prodigy comes on they dont know what the fuck is hitting them and they are very undeserving of the show they are being treated to. Just don't be mistaken into thinking all prodigy shows in the US are lets sit here look at our watches and bob our heads because of the 4 times I've seen them (Ultra Music Festival 06, 09 Detroit and Chicago 09) the crowd has been full blown into it maybe not as intense as brixton but intense all the same. I blame the shite crowd for Linkin Park charging like they still make good music. By the way MightyPoo your the fuckin man and im not here enough to tell you that anymore but consider this a nice little beef up

Wow, just got back from the Staples Center.... the show tonight SUCKED even worse!
Intro
Breathe
Omen
Poison
Thunder (dub)/Religion link
Firestarter
Run With The Wolves
Omen Reprise
Invaders Must Die
Take Me To The Hospital
Smack My Bitch Up
NO DIESEL POWER!!! WTF.....they had to cut a song out of their set, and they picked that one!? the audience were even worse than in San Jose...not many people moving at all, so disgusting.... and it may have been one of the loudest crowds ive heard in an arena during Linkin Park...Im fairly disappointed right now. I need to get to Europe ASAP!!

Hi to the BK Crew.
Been at Staples Center last night; was waiting for a fuking looong time to see them again since Hollywood Paladium in 2009, taped the whole thing, but the audio is distorted in most parts... anyway, i enjoyed every second of it since i get to see them every 2-3 years now, and was disgusted to see all those nooblets staying and behaving like lifeless zombies, then scream like pantsies on LP and shit.
Wish US audience was more blessed with "prodigy" than my ex-fellow europeans!
Pit

this isn't 100% true
while it might have been ok in other venues or in the seated areas, there was a mosh pit for some part of the gig, at the Montreal gig I attended
