I think he has mixed the original one cause the bass must had been overwhelming. You can hear maxim and the crowd only when the beats stop.

I took about 4 video clips when I was there... when the bass is in use everything goes quiet as the frequency of it fucks with mic's....

A FESTIVAL held by THE PRODIGY sounds like the stuff dreams are made of.

And with the British summer thankfully holding out, it turned out to be exactly that.

A huge crowd assembled at the Milton Keynes Bowl, a fitting arena for what was to be one of the gigs of the year.

The Warriors Dance Festival was a day-long party attended by a capacity crowd of 65,000, some of whom had travelled from mainland Europe for a chance to see The Prodigy and their guests.

Sets by PENDULUM, ENTER SHIKARI, CHASE AND STATUS and ZANE LOWE (in between acts) kept the revellers buoyant, but were a mere prelude to what was a thunderous display by the outfit.

By the time they arrived on stage anticipation was at a high - and no one was disappointed.

With MAXIM and KEITH FLINT bouncing around the stage with the energy of a pair of toddlers, ROB HOLLIDAY tearing it up on the guitar, LEO CRABTREE on drums and the digital maestro LIAM HOWLETT on the buttons, a buzz spread around the venue from the get go.

And they maintained a high level of energy throughout the set, which lasted almost two hours - supported by a back catalogue of tunes that spans some 20 years.

Recent tracks from their latest LP Invaders Must Die pleased the younger members of the crowd.

Chart toppers Breathe, Smack My B***h Up and Firestarter caused utter mayhem as mosh circles broke out in various parts of the crowd.

While classics like Charly, Everybody In The Place, Voodoo People and Poison kept the older fans happy.

An epic finale involved the whole crowd singing along in unison to Out Of Space.

As Maxim left the stage he stated it was the 'best night of my f*****g life' - no doubt a large portion of the crowd felt the same way.

They obviously didn't like Does It Offend You, Yeah then? lol. Must of been well tough bein the first support band on. I definitely digged them more than Enter Shikari and Pendulum though, really liking the sound of their new album.

Edit: with the exception of Killa Kella, he's well annoyin! lol

I enjoyed Does It Offend You, Yeah (tho I hate the band name! lol), we originally were gonna just listen to a few songs and go explore elsewhere, but they won us over. not bad really, think I'll download a few tracks first before I buy an album or anything though. Any suggestions on what I should d/l?

Ended up being able to see Enter Shikari live twice now and both times I've got bored and walked off. Just a bit naff.

Chase + Status were good fun. Last two tracks with plan b were amazing as the whole crowd knew them and it just became a riot. The girl who appeared on stage, Dellilah, was standing right next to us before she went on. Tightest dress I've ever seen >_< lol. She was fine too - which helped ;) Also was cool to see Maxim and Keith standing on the side of the stage and watching through the set.

As for Pendulum, I'm not sure why you guys have so much venom towards them. They did a fun set and a pretty awesome show. Wasn't quite the standard of prodigy, but at least the crowd in my area was moshing, singing, jumpin, screaming etc. Bit of crowd interaction. Was a lot of fun and a good warm up. My ex (who got me the tickets for christmas, but we're still cool) actually prefered them to prodigy, but that may have been because we were right by the right stack and the bass was crazy for prodigy and a bit much for her. Apart from their slight technical hick up, why are people so anti?

As for prodigy, still recovering from thier set ^_^

So Dugdale making the video of the show. I really think this will be his best one. From the youtube clips of them on stage it looks like they had cameras set up everywhere. I saw at less two on the drummer. Guess the diesel power clip was a test run for this. I also noticed some above shots from the stage. Maybe they put cameras in the ambulances. His shots are always good but hopefully they recorded full quality this time. Hopefully audio was recorded directly as that's usually the biggest problem the videos have. The audio will need a lot of mixing to get the feeling of the gig right. I really hope this is for a dvd and not just for the web. I'd love to hear it in 5.0 surround sound. But ether way it'll be much appreciated for all of us who couldn't go.

Where do you think they got the ant? Like the new shirt in the lip? lol

Does it Offend You Yeah only have 1 album out at the mo called 'You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into', its a good album but a bit weird, its like half the album is one guy (james rushent) making electronic songs on his own in his bedroom with a clear prodigy influence, n the other half sound more like an indie band covering the prodigy. still good tho. They played quite a lot of new stuff at MK, which sound more like a fusion of the 2 styles of the first album, definitely got high hopes for the 2nd album, a lot of the new stuff sounded pretty good, shud be out in a few months time hopefully.

As for pendulum, I personally thought they were pretty good at MK, they were better than I was expectin. Mindu, 2 of my mates that were there that were massive fans of Pendulum before n were really lookin forward to seein them thought they were borin n their stuff all sounded the same.

Chase & Status though, I thought they were great, definitely my fav of all the support acts, Plan B was an excellent bonus too, definitely wanna see them live on their own at some point too.

Enter Shikari, they just didnt appeal to me at all, they sound like 14 year olds tryin to be hardcore. Funnily enough all the really young kids in the crowd were liking them, there was this young girl in front of me that was singin n bobbin along to their stuff n i was just kaning them. Funnily enough she didnt want to talk to me much more after that, lol.

well, amazing is all to be said. wish I lived over there.

so that's the first time this Colours remix has been played then? If I remember, they've tried Colours live a few times before but Liam said it wasn't working out. IMO, this remix isn't that great either.

amazing setlist overall. Thanks for all the coverage. It helps the rest of us in the world!!

Looking forward to the vids (but hoping for a quality DVD or course). As for support acts, I missed Does It Offend You Yeah, which is a shame. Saw Chase & Status, they were good, put on a good show and all. My main problem with them is they use too many similar sounds in different songs. Still they put on a decent show. Enter Shikari were shit, hated their perforamce. I was just talking to me mates and ignoring their boring performance by the end. Pendulum were ok, I mean they tried and it was quite rocking, but I'm just not that big a fan of them. I was hoping they'd play their Voodoo People remix, but alas no...

If you ask me take out Enter Shikari and replace them with Justice, they'd have fitted much better...

if this gig doesn't give them any ideas and inspiration for new songs and a new album in the next 6 to 8 months im pretty convinced that will be that, they wont be anymore albums, saying that i'm confident we will hear new stuff soon...
