funny, I recognize this track for being the intro of Massive Attack's Essential Mix (which dates from 1994)

It's funny how a never changing setlist is what's boring and not, for the most part, the tracks. Even Hyperspeed is now sounding a bit dated as a live track.

They could never do that. Maxim can't remember the lyrics, and Liam can't remember how to play live.

Only real fans criticize.

Theres a difference between constuctive criticism and just lack of respect. I could do list of things what I dont like or think they could do differently, bur whats the point?
Sometimes I think people should not randomly bash out comments like above, cause 99,9 % of these people know shitt about producing music and perfoming at that level... Including myself.

Maxim is full of shit on stage. He should actually rap or perform a verse or two every now and then. I suppose he's afraid to change his "success formula" but the reality is the boys have been living of the fat of the land for some time now. Its ironic and the pun was intended.

To be honest, i agree with This. Looking all those youtube recordings... It's pretty much same thing every time and it really doesn't make sense

Even Ray from 2 Unlimited is a much better MC than Maxim.

On the other hand though, when I think of how many shows they play, how many they played in their lives, and how youtube/internet makes us see what we couldn't see back in the day... we might be exaggerating things sometimes a bit.

No, I'm dead serious. I think he is a joke on the mic.

even if it was a joke, there's too much random nonconstructive criticism going around.
i also don't like many things, but usually i try to put myself into bands perspective try to think for a reason.
want to believe they are taking things still seriously and with passion.
some things are not right.. and i also can't really put my finger on it.
too much confidence? boredom? doing it for the money?
if they really don't put theyr heart in it why still travel around the world and put themselves through airports and shitt, every traveling band hates it. at theyr age they would have gave it up already.

I do think they still get some sort of buzz from the gigs. I mean, generally speaking, you should be dead not to get a buzz from playing in front of tens of thousands of people, even though they've done a shitload of gigs.
Plus, the money is a decent motivator as well. They're milking the cow at the moment, so to speak. However, to fatten up that cow, they need a hit with a quadrillion views, or at least somewhere in the vein of Warriors Dance. What we've heard so far is not that commercially pleasing, I guess.

nothing wrong with critisism. even when out of respect cause that's what they're doing to the die hard fans at the moment. nevertheless, i dont want to bash em that hard. they're fucking old and the scene they're in is focused mainly on young people... or at least on an energetic and youthful culture. im sure liam is capable of delivering and so are maxim n keef. they just have a lot more on their plate today and age is not helping either. im just glad that their set is much darker and moving to a more vicious direction. even if its not eventually going nowhere... and im beginning to think so.
