Woodstock was my 16th gig of them since 1997.
and yes it is the same setlist since 2009. a few changes but it is!
I can understand what Nuno is saying. They do the same thing every day, every week since imd release. just some new fills but no space for new things. I loved that Breathe-Dubstep, but Liam wasted it away, dunno why, it was amazing. Sure i want some new stuff too. but the most thing i want is to see them live. doesnt matter which tracks i saw 10 times in a row. but hell yeah, it could be alot better. liam should do 3-4 random tracks. they have so much fantastic tunes they coluld randomize and they will fit. Girls, Spitfire, Warning, Mindfields, No Good, the new mixes of the experience tracks, or playing the full tracks, full SMBU, full Breathe, not this cut shit tunes. it is just daly busieness for them. it is like jilted said before.
but it is okay for me. i enjoy every fuckin tune of them. i wanna feel the bass of poison in my chest. thats why I'm there. and if you aks me, i didn't need new stuff. i want a 2 hours gig with all tunes i love in full lengh, full energy. but that is just a dream. They aren't the guys from the 90s anymore. compare Maxims performances from 1995-97 with 2004-2011. he is gettin professional, more interactive with the audience, but he lost much energy and psychosomatic!
But i dont want to moan about it. it is just the way of life. I'm just glad that they still playing live and i can watch them! Hope i can see them this year again, with old setlist or new, doesnt matter for me! And I'm not blind, but i love this music and i see the changed attitude of the Band.

and that's the right attitude. let yourself be surprised if it's going to be your first gig, but expect fun and nothing else if it's another one.
sure i also wanted them to appreciate the crowd and festival but it's their wasted chance, not mine. i enjoyed the music that i like and im satisfied.

i donno. comparing "I am the lyrical president and the fucking prime minister [scream]" with the "all my fucking warriors" which he says 20 times under one single track... if that's what professinalism means then I want the "amateur" maxim again thanks
not to mention how many times he says "yo"...
or how many times he says totally useless "fucking". not as if im against swearing but you know its boring when it's "all my FUCKING people who FUCKING turned up tonight". half of the show is spent by hearing fucking fucking fucking. it can be good from time to time, like listen to IMD from roskilde 2010, that's brilliant when he repeats "just die fucking die fucking die fucking die" but it's rather an exception than the rule.

which is probably amount that visited the festivals site during 3 days. although i can assure you that prodigy gig had highest attendance this place ever had, so beaten MK and Moscow easily.

That's exciting to hear--!
Wonder if they made some proper recording of it and we can expect a video!

Unfortunately I wouldn't expect a video. Band, or management was very unfriendly and of course one of their request was not to record (some songs), while festival organisers never skip anything with their ready-to-make-dvd amount of cameras. Like I said before, they (band or management) didn't realised where they are and that the gig and place is very special and they wasted their chance acting this way before the gig and doing average performance in general.

Woodstock festival was really great! A lot of bands played just great, Air Bornd gave the best show, Helloween turned people on and on, I had thrills all over and firetrucks were really needed, because people got really hot!
And then Prodigy came... Well, they didn't spoiled the mood that much (barriers were just retarded, the stage was like 5-6 meteres hight, there was no way that anyone could climb there and barriers were dangerous for people in front). They got out, played what they were suppoused to play, exacly one hour later they packed up and flew. At least they played well.
There were no contact with audience. It was like the leader was afraid to speak to us. The only thing that he repeat several times was "Take two fucking steps back!". Very touchy. Who wanted those barriers, ones again? Other bands had no barriers, and still quite an audience, and there were no problem with people in front being pushed to the scene. Stage was so high, that you can't see anything standing close to it, so it is posible to walk by the stage.
The Prodigy on Woodstock - big dissapointment. You could have been great, you could have made those people love you, but well, you didn't want to.
No more "proffessional" bands on Woodstock! Put your whims up your arss and take two fucking steps back!

They are needed! I dont want to now what happes when the whole crowd crash the people in the front against the wall. you fella are completly wrong about it. it is too dangerous without them. cant believe you really criticize this point. maybe you where'nt in the battelfield in the front or in
the moshpits ^^
Does anyone know the name of the dubstep track playing before prodigy?

nobody on earth can tell what would happen without them but while this was record attendance festival scored over 500000 in previous years and had some very popular headliners and nothing wrong happend. this is how it works there, which you don't have to understand but you can't say it doesnt work because it does.

I just don't see how being pushed on barriers is safer then being pushed on stage...
I can't understand how could Helloween just play for us, without any demands?
But I must admitt - The Prodigy were nice support to final concert of Łąki Łan!

cause behind the barriers security can put the people out, who wants out or must out.
@Chaosu
U dont wanna compare the pure madness from a prodigy gig with other gigs? no way, and i was on many rock, metall acts, nothing compares with prodigy.
but its okay! ^^

I was afraid you will start bragging about that. The truth is that you could have been on other metal bands but you haven't been on them in Poland. Get to circle pit or wall of death on woodstock or any other proper gig and you will admit that Prodigy fans are rather quiet.
Check this at 6th minute, look at all those dangerous flags around...

or this at 5:20, the rain was heavy all gig long, lots of mud for sure:

have you seen that on Prodigy gig?
