Less Than a week 2 go and hearing "Omen" today was a great psyche up! Anyone here going to be attending this ?
I will try and give an accurate review as well as a setlist and find out what merchandise is available, i might even get some video, audio and or photos as since its gonna be in the boiler room i have an excellent chance of being up front (however i am gonna have some poor quaility audio/video then but should get some top photos!),i'll see how i feel . Anyway i am hoping someone out there is going to record this years Big Day Out's like they did with 2002 , its great to have a recording of a live show you were actually at !

Channel V on Foxtel always has Big Day Out coverage however in the past for some reason they have never shown any footage from the Prodigy , yet i have seen or have recorded footage of Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method etc so i dont understand why no Prodigy?

at the 2002 shows Liam and co. told them no recordings of their performances where to take place and also there were to be no questions about the new album. But they did let the 97 shows get recorded, I remember seeing Fire (sunrise vers) Live getting played on V... But haven't seen anything in.. years!

I remember the interview from 2002 (which I have on tape somewhere) where that tosser Jabba was asking them questions and you could just see the tension between the guys, plus it was the same old bullshit questions.. the Beastie Boys thing, that dick DJ GrooveTerminator using Kool Keith on a track.. etc..

The boys didn't seem to want to be there, wasn't super obvious to me at the time, as I just thought it was this "persona" they were trying to put on.. But looking at them from after AONO's release they are totally different. Especially now.

I think this is the interview, great fucking start to the interview where he mentions Leeroy leaving the band, although it was 2 years before, whoever the fuck this guy was that interviewed them, he was a cunt.

Just got home from Big Day Out Gold Coast.

PRODIGY FUCKING ROCKED IT! I was right up the front taking videos (most of which are distorted because of the bass but will upload onto brainkiller anyway) will also post photos i took! The crowd was great except for the group of guys who decided to recreate a scene from "Galvanize" By Chemical Brothers with the whole circle dance off. But Prodigy FUCKING ROCKED!! I loved every bit of it!! I caught some water that Keith threw haha lol! umm it tasted like plastic. Saw Pendulum also and it was pretty fucking heavy bass. Was probably the 2nd best act to prodigy. At one point I was at the front in the moshing area but couldn't breathe so I had to leave.
