The UK chart-toppers will headline June's Live In The Park.

Our good friends at BBC Radio Ulster’s Across The Line are reporting that The Prodigy will headline the new Live In The Park event, which is taking place in Donard Park, Newcastle, County Down on June 19.

Currently at number one in the UK with their Invaders Must Die album – expect it to be replaced next week by U2’s No Line On The Horizon – the band will be playing to a potential 15,000 punters.

The gig is being organised by PLM Promotions who’ve previously enjoyed success with the Beach Party and Planet Love events.

I know there will be a hell of a lot of people from the south going to that gig. Everyone that can't travel to Cork or didn't get tickets to the Slane gig. Fuck i think if enough fuss is kicked up about this i'd be wary of it getting cancelled.
