what a gig ! The band is in great form again! sound and lights unbelievable. I notcied that in the middle of the show the background decoration was changed (from the beginning of the show till Run With The Wolves there was that 'Run With The Wolves January Tour' kinda decoration then quickly short blackout and when Voodoo People started there was again that 'radars (or whatever its called) background decoration which they've been having for the most of recent gigs. Enter Shikari supporting.... hmmm...don't understand their music, kind of rock/nu metal stuff with electronic elements... was waaaay tooo chaotic... I dont know, maybe that was the pressure of supporting The Prodigy or sth else but it looked like they were tryin to push themselves too hard..didnt look natural in my opinion tracklist (correct me if it;s not the right order): Intro World's On Fire Breathe Breathe Dubstep Omen Poison Jaws Fill Warrior's Dance Firestarter Run With The Wolves Voodoo People Omen Reprise Invaders Must Die Diesel Power Smack My Bitch Up (during the song ---> a new sample: instead of that Kool Keith sample ''time to time, futuristic' or whatever, Liam dropped Baby D - Take Me To Heaven: 'cut the midrange, drop the bass' which fitted perfectly to the beat) Take Me To The Hospital Out Of Space No Good (Start The Dance) New Fill Their Law (the main guitar's riff was a bit changed) highlights of the show: - Omen (sound and lights combined together....awesome !) - Jaws Fill (Hardnoise's beat....everybody went mental) - Run With The Wolves (no metter how perfect sound sytem you may possess, but you have to listen to that tune live to understand how powerful it is) - Diesel Power (have been always a great fun of that track live) - Take me To The Hospital - New Fill/Their Law (during that part the guys got frozen, lights went down closer to the stage, it looked like that kind of spaceship was landing,....great) once again, great gig spent some money on official stuff, some of them are not in the shop yet, but they will be soon (baseball cap with orange ant logo, grey hoodie covered with black ant - i bought that one - some stickers etc.) ok, goin to the airport now and fly back home to Tenerife out :D |

Nice to read your review, I was there too. Really amazed that the band almost soldout the place, at 39 euro / ticket and around 13.000 in attendance, probably Prodigy's biggest show in the country as a one-act concert. |

i love the start of their law ! simple but really effective especially with that new fill, i'm glad they kept it there and it wasn't just a one off type of thing. if liam can rework the main parts of the tune a little more it could be an amazing finisher track |

nice review, you're refering to the Kool Keith sample ''time to time, futuristic' in smbu, I've always wondered, what exactly is he saying? It sounds more like time to get fucking frisky or something... anyone? Cheers |
