4-6 August (Prodigy on 6th) Kostrzyn nad Odrą, Poland (here), 80km from Berlin with direct train for 10€. http://wosp.org.pl/woodstock/woodstock_2011 (looks like no webpage in English yet) Most important information is that festival is hassle-free. Yes, entrance is free, camping field is free, there is no typical security that, no fences around. I'm gonna find you more info, I was there 3 times already (I think) so will happily answer all questions. Ofc inviting everyone! PS. Flags are allowed, I wanna buy 1-2 ant flags (not in shop currently), anyone selling? |

It's weird because lineup is from 2010 while it was already for 2011 for some time, but you can see news here (check date): http://wosp.org.pl/woodstock/aktualnoci ... stock.html |

According to wiki (official info from Police and festival is always a bit different) it's between 300-400 thousands people. It's not big in terms of music (just main stage and folk stage), but it also focuses a lot on other cultural activities. You can learn some guitar playing, watch meetings with famous people, watch movies, talk about religion and stuff. Festival cooperates with Hare Krishna movement, an Hindu organisation. While many thinks it's just another sect they offer tasty food imo (I don't buy traditional food there at all). |

I will make some big prodigy flag, and will hang it close to my tent to gather all prodigy fans in one place. Any volunteers? It will be a huge fuckin day:) |

So the prodigy are confirmed? Any other bands... The internet presentation is not in english, so I am troubled. What about accomodation and similiar stuff, if I decide to come. I'm from Serbia. But I need adventure and a prodigy gig. |

@MaxReal: I will put a flag too in place where I usually set up, but I got some friends anyway so not sure if I will go for bigger-fan camp, I'll let you know closer to festival. @Prodigal Son: check lineup here (lol, looks like some troll just removed everything) or here. As for accomodation, there is just camping field and access to cold water or paid campingfield with warm water. Perhaps there is hotel or two in the city (festival is few km away) but everyone sleeps in tent (including volounteers and part of festival crew for sure). As for traveling, depening on when you arrive (noone stops you from coming 5 days earlier, really!) there will be special, cheaper trains from major cities in Poland which is probably best option as it's harder to get there by regular trains. Getting by car isn't best option (no parking field), if you come early/leave late you can park car next to your tent but you aren't allowed to move during the festival (4 days). There is cheap warm, no-meat food from Krishnas people for ~1,25€ and some typical food like soups/hamburgers for no more than 3€ I think. It's best to take one case with wheels and buy food and drinks (especially water, there's enough beer on festival but usually too little other liquids) in some market in city (there is good road leading to festival thats why wheels helps). |

I see no problem for a setup in one place, we can arrange a meeting before the festival, and make some good big place for fans to camp with us. |
