I just second chance offered Spitfire. The guy who originally bid £310 admitted that he set up a new account. Apparently he had no choice!
Christ knows why he bid upto a max of £500 in the first place if he had no intention of buying it!

Well, Spitfire finally sold! Went for £300 in the end! I can't quite believe it went for that much, just a tad mad! I wasnt even intending on selling at all, but somebody asked if I had it and offered £50. I thought they were mad considering i bought for around £2.99. I did some digging online and saw the fuss it had caused with being rare and one went for £149 in february.
Now this is out of the way, I shall be focusing on selling my other bits, and I will reply to all of you who were interested in this and that. Apologies for not doing so earlier.
Thanks

I put mine up for sale starting at £50. I wasnt being greedy, I didnt dictate in people bidding into the hundreds. This Funky Choons fella is mad
Yes i do read the forums, although not that often
Im not mad, a £599 start price has helped me to sell it privately off ebay for £350. I saved on paying ebay 10% in final value fees and it was a free listings day so im well happy having paid ebay nothing
Id be mad if i sold it for £50 as many people on ebay offered, who in their right mind would sell a cd worth around £300 for £50??
And i still have a sealed copy in my collection otherwise i would never have sold the opened one. Now im off to watch and hopefully bid on the 'Minefields' 12" on ebay

Yes i do know that, ive been on ebay for years and know many things about it!!!
But as i said above it was free listings day and to take advantage of this i had to list it as an auction and NOT a buy it now with best offer.
And as i also said ebay would have taken fees of around £35 if i sold it through them so by doing it my way ive saved paying any fees at all
I merely used ebay to advertise my item then i took offers by email and sold it to the highest, the auction is now cancelled and i will be posting the cd today, maybe to someone who is a member here!!
