I don't understand why solo stuff can be so expensive, if it was Howlett produced fair enough. I guess I'm not the hardcore fan I thought I was..

it's a good item. It's like the Longman EP, never saw it on Ebay or elsewhere but I'm sure people would pay a lot of money for it...

What I've been doing of late is asking someone else to bid for me on items, just so that I don't get caught up in the last minute madness.
I may have to go against my word on this item as there is no kind of guide price. It's already around the EB price.

It's not a matter of whether it's a solo or an album or whoever produced it or whatever, it's the rarity of such an item that makes it expensive.
Imagine it were a Ferrari Enzo; if they made a million of them every year and sold them for the same price as a Ford Focus, it wouldn't be such a desirable car, because everyone who wanted one would be able to get one quite easily, and there would be nothing special about them at all.
But because there's only limited number in existence, not everyone will be able to have one, so people will pay a premium for the priviledge of owning something special.
Same theory for a rare record. If you really want one, you'll pay over the odds to get one.
