im shocked
my brain cannot assimilate your information sorry
shitty chick? run has more energy than wd?
for me WD is the most danceable song since No Good
i love it since 1st time ive heard it, may 18th, 2008
so im not sure if we listened to the same album
chipmunk not serious? come on chipmunks are most serious being on earth ever
and more seriously: run is nothing new. nothing.
warning was the same, only with much sharper lyrics.
and back in time, BGAT had quite similar formula too.
rocky beats + a bit of noise + keith singing some pompous lyrics.
for me this is simply a mistaken idea. not innovative at all, with faked atmosphere.
its rather a giant step back.
compared to firestarter, where Keith did genious job, it sounds soo poor.
so, how could run be a single? it is like bgat 2.0. for me it is on last position to be a single ever.
forgive me doing offtops. but it is still all about new album, emotions are hot, so i hope u will understand me

i think he means on the stage !
run does have the most power on the stage, that was the tune everyone went mental for at glasgow, and i'm sure they will again in april, sure its all about opinion but if its about the gigs and energy run certainly has more power that warriors dance !
you wouldn't go smash somones head in with your head when warriors was on, you'd do it with run, as keith said "rip out your fucking ribcage"

at cokelive everyone went mental for WD instead..... i doubt if only becos run hadnt been in the playlist yet..they played warning and it was weaker than WD imo..
but, as u said, its all about opinion..i think its something unique about prodigy, they always bring 2gether people with so various tastes

I think it'll do well in the first couple of weeks but the majority of the people who buy the single will be old fans (so it'll decrease in sales week-by-week since they'll already have bought it, unlike some singles which consistently get higher amounts of sales for weeks because the artist is more unknown)
lmao I was right, what prize do I win?

I agree with mostly all of your posts on the new IMD album except for this one. You seem to articulate exactly how I feel about this album. But I only disagree partly with what you said. I agree that Run isn't all that original but it certainly isn't a BGAT mark two For two reasons: 1. BGAT had no energy - Run is one of the most energetic tracks on IMD. 2. BGAT was very poor. Run is actually very good.
The riff is excellent, the drums exciting (infinitely better that BGAT) and the vocals work very well. I think the comparison with BGAT is not justified. And lets remember that Warriors Dance (brilliant though it is) is also not very original - but it rocks! Just like Run. Both would make very good singles. Lots of energy, but in different ways. Run isn't a step back but is more the Prodigy doing what they are very good at doing. Big, dumb, rocking tracks with lots of venom and nasty riffs. Pointless song yes, but also very satisfying. Glad its on the album.

well, i must admit, since i know the real version of run's lyrics, i think something changed in my opinion - coz now i understand that track much better ..... maybe it's silly, but i have a feeling it is really influenced by many dogs which Keef keeps
it is all about dog's nature .... primitive urge to became a wolf again and run away into the wilderness .... and on the other side there is a human who cares about his animals, he even tie them down, which makes them suffer, but he does it in good intention though .....
of course it's like, none of interpretation is obligatory - cos every prodigy lyric has got double meaning, has got two faces
even if, while being interviewed, they give simple explanations to the lyrics: but in fact there were always two faces and there always was something hidden much deeper - some secret meaning in almost every lyric - that's my oppinion, but i think it's the truth
also something interesting happened with my Omen's perception. firstly, i really wasn't into that track very much. i mean, liked it, but nothing special.....but now, in a context of whole album's material, it's like Omen has found some special place in my mind. i found some special excitement in it ..... i understand that track much better now. especially i love that synthetisers' melody, i found it very addictive and buzzing with emotions. plus also some evolution in my lyrics interpretation..... i especially like the verse 'run on automation' .... it fits very well to internet reality, where everything expands like an avalanche, or like a virus.... (leak )
