Word !
I think it would be funny if the watermarked seems to be in a kind of spoken words layered hidden over the track. And if these words by Liam, Keith and Maxim ... hehe - so those promos are more unique items...
i.e. For sale on ebay:
Invaders-Must-Die Promo-Album with hidden words by the band just for copy protection.... raises the price for over 10.000 £
Hidden verses can be i.e.:
Liam: "I´m the law and you can´t beat the law ! Shock and shit, you´ve done it ! Are you crazy ??? Okay, we will find you and if we have your adress, you will get post from my barrister as soon as possible !"
Keith: "Remember the terms of our Electronic Punks VHS years ago ? We mean it honestly "
Maxim: "It´s an omen we will find you cos you think you´re anonymus and don´t know, what we´ve added to the promo!"
... something like that !
Maybe this album goes really in history as first album released wich isn´t leaked before.
BTW: If I read the terms of the Electronic Punk VHS I think this is funny as hell, cos it said something like "We know who you are and we will come round your house !"
I will never brake copyright protection, cos of respect to the band, but hey..... Liam, Keith, Maxim - you wanna visit me ??? You´re always welcome !

Some days ago Liam said in an interview, they´re not happy with leaked material, but they accepted it over the years, cos you cannot stop leakin things. And the other reason he mentioned was, it is the live-vibe you will never can download - you have to experience it.
Yeah, Liam, good words and I bet you know that watermark thing that time. You meaned: "Do what you want, if it´s forbidden, we will get you!"
IMO it will be sad, if the album gets leaked, cos it seems to be a masterpiece.
The complete interview was kind of ironic I think, cos concerning Live-gigs and music evolution of the band there was the answer "We doin the same stuff over and over again!"
Words by the most individual band of all times.... haha !

this cd is near impossible to play with its copy protection, it seems i have too modern a setup, i have no basic cd player. The prodigy has laid down the law..

Having that kind of protection on a retail CD would be fucking daft, so it wont be on there....

no shit...what implications would that have exactly? we would be unable to convert the audio to mp3 and upload it to our mp3 players?
if so, something like that would be cause for a boycott...
oh yeah, btw...those retards saying that "a true fan would wait" are indirectly saying that all the fans who dowloaded aono before it was released are not true fans...
man! you can't fake stupid...

Disable windows autorun or open it on a linux PC... or windows CDex ripping/playing program. Then you wont get rootkits and who knows what.
And people shouldnt worry, all these copyright things were popular 5 years ago, but people sued them and i havent seen a CD using something like this ever since.

A TRUE fan is someone who buys the album when released whether or not they downloaded a leaked copy previously or not.

what do you mean "when it's released"?
If you're a true fan, you pre-ordered the box-set months ago!
