still, better make sure u can verify the track before watermark, and then after u copy it, compare it to see that the watermarks actually gone! but for that ull have to know what the watermark is and where it is to begin with

Show me one legal case where someone has been caught out with watermarking...
None.

thats because, its near enough impossible to pull off.
trying to rip a cd is really hard, because these cd's contain data that tells the driver where to start play, instead of being at the start its at the very end, this means the cd starts at the end OR it scrambles up the pc because it doesn't know why its there (it wont break pc, it just says theres nothing on the disc drive even though u have a disc in there)
now old cd players do work because these old ones do not look for the starting data, hence new cd players dont work and old ones do, old ones just look for playable media.
the best i've managed to do so far with something watermarked is one track will be there, but it will be the same length as the contents of the cd, now i'm doing this to study how this all works, i've been doing alot of research on it and how a "Black Marker" pen could indeed get rid of the watermark, by coloring in the last line on the cd it destroys this Data that prevents the disc from working or starting at the end.
still to try this technique but with the single track there was no audio, so its a fail but i'm getting close
oh and people at home who have watermarked cd's or whatever they can try this, but be sure not to use a permanent black marker, just one u can wipe off because i dont know if this works.

i can't show you any legal cases.
all i can tell is that when my friend tells me that this procedure exists i believe him. i know he worked at fraunhofer institute so i strongly believe he knows what he's talking about.
so that was my point. people will probably work around it anyway.

Anyone who has "A New Day Has Come" by Celine Dion can practice the pen trick

The promo cd has already been leaked, to me
I paid £60 for it and i have no idea where it originally came from.
Each copy has its own serial number printed on the sleeve and the cd.
I can tell you that when i put it in my pc the disc appears to be completely blank, and thats after ive switched off the auto-run thing.
I am no expert in ripping these types of cd's so i didnt try anything else.
Also, it would not play in my Kenwood car system
It did play in my Technics home player though, so i plugged in some leads and recorded it to my pc! So now i can play it in my car with the bass turned up
The sleeve i got doesnt look like the one on the review site here that came in a slimline jewel case-
Instead it looks like this one and came in a thin plastic wallet (note whoever uploaded the scans removed the serial numbers from both the sleeve and the cd!!) -
http://www.discogs.com/viewimages?release=1624876
Its a really good album and the only down side for me are the track lengths, just a total of 46.05 mins, a bit short perhaps! Not like MFTJG which had to be shortened to fit on a cd!!!
By the way i have no intention of leaking this so please dont ask, i bought it as im a big fan of The Prodigy and i collect promos as well as full releases. At least this copy didnt fall into the hands of some **** who might want to make a profit from it, but it goes to show that some of the lucky people who receive these promos for free are more interested in money than the music

Then....you're not the one...

It's barely 10 min shorter than Fat of the Land, so it's all good Can't really understand why all reviews states its "only 40 min" . 46 min is closer to 50, if you ask me I would have written that its almost 50 rather than 40. Dumb people
