wierd....it doesn't name the mackie mixer which is THE mixing tool for that sound, it created the "OOMPH" for firestarter.
Also it names their law as a single ,which it wasn't.

Liam didn't use that much synthesizers for FAT, the most creative tool was the sampler.

It's basically the big difference with TDIME: Liam's using more synths these days and less samples.

The last album should be liam messing around with samples again.

"before the seismic breakbeat kicks in, which is generated with the classic E-mu SP1200 drum machine". Errr, I've got the Jungle Warfare CD1 (1994) sample CD with the main Firestarter break on it. Liam just fattened it up a bit with other gear. I'm not sure if this author has done their homework.

the problem is in the word 'generated', maybe he sliced it up and played it back via the drummachine?
