COSTUMES belonging to a member of the band Prodigy were stolen from a Sheffield nightclub after a sell-out gig.
The band, which emerged on the underground rave scene in 1990 and is now known worldwide, had played to a packed crowd at Plug on Friday.

South Yorkshire Police say the theft of two costumes from a dressing room at the Matilda Street nightclub was reported at around 3.10am on Saturday morning and officers want to hear from any one who saw the culprit or thieves in action or anyone who knows where the costumes are.

A spokeswoman for the city centre venue claimed only one outfit was stolen and said the theft was from a corridor rather than a dressing room.

Anyone with information should call the City Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team on 0114 2523996 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Admittedly this is a small local paper, so anything even vaguely interesting would have made the press, but that's pretty standard for any UK Redtop newspaper.
The first word is always the most important in any newspaper report. For the nationwide press like the Sun or the Mirror, when they design it for print they usually splash the most high impact words like 'RAPED' or 'SHOCKING' between the paragraphs to keep the reader's attention, mainly because their reader demographic has the attention span of a hamster and only want to know what Britney's been up to this week.

You only have to look at the other stories on that webpage to know that's the biggest thing to have happened there for months..
