Just for info. according to Rob Swire.. the tune was done mostly through lots of shared emails, then Liam went into the studio for a couple of days to finish it off. It began through a talk the two had about the media constantly comparing both bands... and both of them not really understanding any of it.

It's pointless, a shit track (even if Liam had some input on it, and I find this hard to believe, maybe he added a high-hat or a snare or something and that's it). Those little shitheads should kiss Liam's white ass for making them known. Comparing them with Prodigy is stupid. Way beyond stupid actually. ur on fireeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yeah. A little constipated too.

So after a few days of trying (and constantly finding dead / removed links) I finally got a chance to listen to a clean rip of the track...
The first minute starts off soooo promising
then it's like those stereotypical "modern drum n' bass" percussion loops start... and WHOA it turns to pure CRAP!
and the synth sound that seems to run straight through the rest of the track sounds waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy familiar.
Like - I totally remember hearing that synth bit in one of the dnb tracks towards the end of The Scratch Perverts' "Fabriclive Mix" from a few years ago
It almost sounds like Pendulum gave Liam a crap track, and so he just tried to make a proper intro and then added some flourishes on top of Pendulum's stuff to the second half of the track

Immunize is 90% prodigy, with dnb beat and prodigy way tweaks/tricks, vocals edited on Liam's way (omen, bgat, etc), and lots of invaders samples/sounds. Only thing from pendulum there is pendu synth which is very annoying for us prodigy fans, but its pendulum's track so... !
Album is also good, some track sounds shit, vocals are gay, and too much pendu synth sometimes. But at least half of album is great, Salt is really good track like they do on Hold Your Colours, Set Me On Fire is maybe their best song ever, and Island 2 is proof that they can do new and fresh sound, Immunize is really good, plus few more interesting stuff.
And also, we have here lots of idiotic kids (probably emo teens) who have too much shit in their mouth.

Synths at the start and throughout are Liam's work.

Exactly! I don't know what people are talking about not hearing liam in it. I mean how can a prodigy fan not hear liam howlett in that track?

Woaaahhhh, I don't want this topic to go off another tangent, but please don't bring Tony Colman into this lol. He's way above Pendulum! You can't seriously listen to Attack Ships on Fire and think that it's cheesy...
I don't know a single LE track that sounds like Immunize (or any other Pendulum track that I can think of, for that matter). Yes, some of it may also be liked by a relatively pop audience (e.g. Just One Second) but he's always up there for pushing diversity into the drum and bass genre. Of course that is only my opinion, but I feel right now he's on top of his game. Just had to defend him there

The beats definitely sound like Liam and I'm sure he must have helped work on some of the synths in it.

If I knew how I'd make a remix taking out 1:10-2:37 and replacing it with something else. Then bring back the beat from 0:26-0:44 after the 2:38-3:18 part. Or just make a 2:30 min edit with only 30 seconds of cheese instead of 2:30 mins of it lol.
