It's all about the vibe man.

Yeah, technically this isn't a groundbreaking, or even hard track. What it is however, is beautifull. It's all about the feeling you get when you hear the horns. And the pure simple energy from the beats. This track takes you back to a rave in a warehouse in 1991, you really feel like you are there, all sweaty, wearing an aceed man t shirt, popping pure MDMA, e.t.c... this is exactly what this track was written for, and it more than does the job!!

Well, I f.... hate it. It doesnt go anywhere, its drowned in bass and lacks phatness at the same time. If it werent for the horns, the vocal sample and that sweet bassline in the beginning (which has fuck all to do with Liam), I would wipe my ass with it. It never evolves into anything, sounds dated (whatever the fucking tribute is) and lacks everything a Prodigy track can lack - except for the cheese.

One more thing, people - chipmunks are fucking squirrels and to me that sample sounds like a bunch of monkeys going apeshit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i prefer the version on the dvd, the original "ape" sample is cooler, and a bit more theres reverb n echo on the main sample, sounds slightly more trippy airy fairy ish.

i want the original WOF back

but i remember that some time ago,you liked more the new version.

never ever.

Yep, it's the most skippable track for me as well, but I hope that I would hear it live, as it would mean that I'll see The Prodigy again :)

It sounds nothing like anything from Experience, I mean, the vocals are the only thing that you might associate with the 90s. Probably the second best track on the album because of the horns sample.

You seriously don't hear any resemblance with Music Reach? Or Your Love?

Not at all, Music Reach and Your Love are banging tracks that you can never get tired of that are always changing and have crazy beats. Warrior's Dance is ok, but I'm pretty bored of it now and the beat is average.

Theres something that comes across in the live version of WD that I don't quite get off the album version....there are a few little changes that I think take away from the track, like that monkey-whoop sample, the way its chopped on the album isn't as cool as the live version....

But its still a fucking INSANE track....love it.

yeah, I thought WD was gonna suck on record, and it did have some flaws, but it was way better than expected. WoF live is sick, but on record with the more break-y vocals, I was rather disappointed.

This is not a bad thing, but the point of this album was that it DOES hark back to this era - so to say a tune of that nature on the disk doesn't sound like what it's supposed to actually sound like suggests a contradiction in terms :)

The only old Prodigy tune that enters my head when I listen to WD is Rhythm of Life... seeing as it also has the sound that everyone has labeled as the "Monkey Woop Woop" sound.

True. WD sounds alot like an unfinished track, don't know why. Almost every Prodigy track "goes somewhere", has a way of kicking your fucking balls at some point, but this tune...well, I'd say is way too soft, even with that bass all over it.
As for WD being the most danceable track, it can't beat No Good, that's THE most danceable track for me.
WD doesn't suck, but it's not a revelation either. My guess is that it will never be a single, and should have been just an album filler.
