the prodigy never made two albums with the same style. That's why they are so good, they always make different styled albums. So if you don't like the fifth album's style, it is very well possible that you'll like the style of the sixth album, that's what I say and that's why I hate someone telling me (us) that "the prodigy is dying or dead". Of course it's a forum and you're here to say what you think, but making a pronouncement like that is not an opinion, I think. And it's also very bad to see newcomers registering to say it. That's the reason they registered? It's a forum for fans not for people to come say they hate it, then disappear in the download section to get their hands on all the goods this forum offers.

but why should you care? if what you say is true and its only newly registered people then so fuck? if its a person who has posted a thousand times then so fuck? you worry too much what people think, let people say what they want and if you are a real fan it shouldnt really matter or bother you, criticism or not of the band..its allowed... fuck me if i had listened to my friends growing up i would have had long hair and been going to see ian brown now!

anyway peace mate

I agree with most the things that you're saying but I think you're missing a point...

People generally say things like that (subconciously or not), as a kind of defense mechanism against change...

Either that or to try and look cool (eg people saying Heath Ledger's joker wasn't that good) by being different.

There are always people who will genuinly dislike things, and opinions would always differ (if they didn't, the world would be pretty dire), but I think these 'haters' should definately re-think their attitudes, I think IMD is going to be a massively varied album, with a conglomerate of several distinct sounds; ie: something for everyone.

All the tracks we've heard are very different from one another :D I can't wait. And also, seeing IMD live would change anyone's mind...

At the end of the day anyone who is narrow minded enough to say "The single is shit, so screw the Prodigy", isn't worth wasting your breath over. So chillax my friend.

Bring on March 2nd

jjjjjjeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezz i just can't belive you still discuss this. :nono:
It is so simple...
Prodigy shocked manny of their fans with the little IMD(+ v.clip) gift caz some fans thought "WhyTF do they promote this track...oh shit is this the direction of the new album" or "is this suppose to be a diamond tune from the new album" and that's because IMD is (and it always will be) an average track for me and manny other people.

Making humor with someone who likes or doesn't like it is ok but making a topic and start blaming the people how don't like the tune (the moaners or the haters) is not cool.

I personally belive that the new album will be better thatn AONO and i can't wait to listen to it. :)
