I personally think that Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze are some of the best directors around, to name only a few of their awesome videos:

Michel Gondry - Around The World, Let Forever Be, Star Guitar, Come Into My World
Spike Jonze - Sabotage, Drop, Weapon Of Choice

I have this feeling though that none of them is going to work with the Prodigy very soon. A fancontest maybe? I see that these are becoming more and more popular, big bands offering a chance to unknown ppl to prove themselves, and some good stuff have come out. But this way, a lot of moaners could surface ("why no band in video?", "why f*ing animation video/no animation video?"), and this might not work as well with Prodigy. Anyway, the fotl era was their best, video-wise.

As much as i love these directors and own both of their own Director series DVD's all of the mentioned videos are around 5+ years old and more now, Gondry has gone onto films now so I cant see these working with the Prodigy nomatter what.

I love Shynola too but sadly one of their most influencial partners passed away last year and they have gone very quiet

I think they need to use someone new, not someone trusted and I think doing something more digital/more neon and more retro could match the album

what about TRAKTOR?
the polish dudes.(theyre polish weren`t they?) who make ads for mtv and BGAT

on the 'why no band in the video' topic...i prefer 'no band in the video'.i`d like to remember keith with his looks back in 97 :))

- traktor is not a polish group, 4 sure.
- bgat was filmed in czech rep, near prague and near some power plant.
- but i doubt if traktor group are czechs as well
- imao it's impossible to cooperate with traktor again. liam usually says bgat period was a low point for the band. i think he actually hates the song and the video now. even keef lately admitted bgat as a mistake....

- but anyway i prefer even traktor than that dugdale guy again(!) no more live cuts as official videos please. that formula worked with spitfire and omen, but now it's definitely burnt out. its good for youtube, not for real videoclips

i loved bgat. of cors i know the story about liam's dream

the weirdest thing is, half a year before it came out, almost everyday i had sick dreams about cows. yeah, cows, lots of milk everywhere etc. i didnt know whats going on. it was insane.
so, believe me or not....(u probably will not, but its a fact) - just imagine what i felt when i've finally saw the video for the 1st time :) one of the biggest deja-vus in my life.....it was nice

well, liam always says various things ..... i think his recent oppinion is bgat was a mistake. even that's what he says in interviews lately.

yeah, i've had dreams about liam finding a while, moving his ass and made kickass videos to hospital piranha & more

but, to be honest, nothing as strong as these 2001-2002 deja-vu dreams yet
